Transcript [00:00] It is higher than the 2006 during the [00:01] Iraq war. We now Saudi Arabia just [00:05] announced they're actually producing [00:06] even less oil and distributing even less [00:08] oil than we expected. I think they're [00:10] down to 3.2 million barrels per day in [00:13] that they're sending out to the rest of [00:14] the world. And on top of it, Europe is [00:17] no longer taking in Russian oil. So, [00:19] there's a larger demand for fewer for [00:21] fewer barrels. They're expecting oil to [00:23] go to $150 a barrel. It's currently at [00:25] 108. It was 102 just a few days ago. [00:29] It's it if oil prices shoot past five $6 [00:32] a gallon, it's really going to be in [00:34] horrendous shape. I think that oil and [00:36] all the things that are affected by oil [00:38] really make things even more worse. [00:41] >> Yeah. I just as just anecdotal and I [00:43] always preface this with I'm not saying [00:45] that my financial situation is in any [00:47] way like an average American. My husband [00:48] and I are both gainfully employed. I'm [00:50] an Apple baby. Blah blah blah. But I [00:52] will say I'm sick of spending $500 on [00:54] gas and groceries every time I go to [00:57] both because that's normally I'll do [00:58] that like all in one swing. I'm spending [00:59] $100 at the gas tank and then I spend [01:02] around $400 on groceries. I have so many [01:05] children in our house is like a [01:06] cafeteria. There's so many people coming [01:07] in and out. I always need a ton of food. [01:09] So like I'm probably buying more food [01:10] than an average person. But I'm just [01:12] talking about like regular everyday like [01:14] there's some new handbags I would like [01:16] to be buying with that $500 instead. and [01:18] and you know even when it's hitting like [01:21] my life in a different way and it's [01:23] really noticeable for my budget each [01:26] week um I can't honestly imagine how [01:28] like a you know a person of a low socio [01:30] economic realm is feeling [01:32] >> I'm gainfully employed I make a good [01:34] living I have to travel for to like see [01:37] my relatives in Florida and New York is [01:40] not usually expensive trips these are so [01:42] air airfare is crazy right now because [01:45] of high oil rates and think of [01:48] Everything made with petroleum, [01:49] everything made with food prices cuz [01:51] that's because shipping food is the most [01:52] expensive part of food. It's not [01:53] actually the labor, it's the shipping, [01:55] all that stuff is really hurting our [01:58] economy. Really hurting going into the [02:00] midterms. So, yeah, it's it's I mean, [02:02] it's really bad. And unfortunately, on [02:05] top of it, we still are I mean, I guess [02:07] every race you've plagued with bad [02:09] candidates, but we have some candidates [02:10] who are pretty rough around the edges [02:12] and they're not kind of holding their [02:14] own weight. Democrats, I think, actually [02:15] have more candidates that are not [02:16] pulling their own weight, but this for [02:18] for the year and for the cycle that it [02:19] is. But yeah, it's bad. It's not It's [02:21] not good. [02:23] >> Who do you think is the most vulnerable? [02:25] I have been I'm just going to like be [02:26] very honest with you, Ryan, because [02:28] we're personal friends as well. I am [02:30] really disappointed in Texas right now [02:32] and whoever is running the Texas [02:34] Republican coalition, their apparatus. I [02:36] have no idea who that is. But between [02:38] the like railroad commissioner and Ken [02:40] Paxton, these are really both French. [02:42] Yes. So, sorry. We're really not sending [02:44] our aid team in. It's like such in [02:47] enforced error, self-inflicted wounds. [02:50] Like there Ken Paxton is a vulnerable [02:52] weak candidate who doesn't seem to be [02:54] campaigning the way I would expect [02:56] someone at that level to be doing. Um [02:58] >> doesn't seem to be campaigning period. [03:01] He is [03:01] >> Why is that? [03:02] >> James Terrio has held four times as many [03:06] events. Four times as many events. [03:10] He is not He's always had the reputation [03:13] of being a lazy campaigner. He will not [03:15] debate. Um I don't know why nothing has [03:20] shaken him. He does have a home outside [03:24] the country. He spends quite a bit of a [03:26] time in he I think in Italy he like [03:28] which is listen good all for I wish I [03:30] had a home in Italy. Um so I'm not [03:32] shameing for that but like you're [03:34] running for US Senate. I think a big [03:37] part of the problem in Texas, boat [03:40] French is another thing entirely. I am [03:42] very tired of people who want to be [03:43] political celebrities running for office [03:45] as a catalyst to be a celebrity. [03:47] >> Um I I think you should you're running [03:49] for railroad commissioner. Like talk [03:51] about oil and whatever. [03:53] >> I think that I think that um I think the [03:56] problem in Texas specifically is there [03:59] needs to be a generational turnover that [04:02] hasn't happened. I don't know why [04:03] Abbott's running for his fourth term. [04:05] Abbott is not doing well in the polls at [04:06] all right now. I don't know why um [04:09] mostly statewide people are there for so [04:11] long. I think there are a lot of people [04:14] I think that Cornin should have retired. [04:15] I think I don't think Cornin should have [04:16] gone for another term. If Cornin had [04:18] retired, I think that their chance of [04:21] Paxton being the nominee would have been [04:23] much much smaller because the cream [04:26] would have risen much faster. People are [04:29] tired of waiting for so long to run for [04:32] office. I mean, you're talking Abbott's [04:33] been there. Abbott will have been there [04:34] if he wins this term for 16 years as [04:36] governor. Unprecedented the state [04:39] lieutenant governor has who Tan Patrick [04:40] was a very good lieutenant governor but [04:42] he's been there for a very long time. A [04:43] number of others he's have been there [04:44] for quite some time. The railroad [04:46] commissioner had been there for some [04:48] time when he was defeated by Bo French. [04:50] So [04:51] all of that I think created this kind of [04:55] bubbling situation where opportunity was [04:57] there to get to get rid of them and um [05:00] and not always the best candidates would [05:02] have ran. Had they retired maybe better [05:03] candidates would have surfaced. [05:05] >> I do want to say one thing though and [05:06] we've talked about this privately. There [05:08] are some people in Texas that I think [05:10] are just total rising stars. One of them [05:12] being Brandon Gil who even my like one [05:15] thing I really appreciate about and I [05:17] watched his speech at the excuse me the [05:19] midterm convention and I follow him on [05:20] social media and just you know follow [05:22] what he's doing in congressional [05:23] hearings. He is someone which is a this [05:25] is a very interesting like putting my [05:27] finger in the wind. My normie friends [05:29] like him and my hyper red meat [05:32] conservative MAGA friends like him which [05:34] is a very hard line to sort of like you [05:37] know bridge together. What is it about [05:39] him in particular? Because I think he's [05:40] like really one to watch. What What is [05:42] it about him that you think his career [05:44] >> was GC? [05:46] >> No, I did not know that. [05:47] >> I was his GC. Yeah, I we're very me and [05:49] Brandon are very good friends. I was his [05:51] GC. I was uh trying to give him some [05:52] jokes for that speech. Uh he he used a [05:54] couple of them, but there No, he did use [05:56] a couple of them. Couple of them he I [05:58] think were too spicy. But he um [06:00] Brandon's like overall I mean Brandon [06:02] takes the job very seriously. I remember [06:05] when we were meeting with the former [06:06] congressman who had been there for I [06:07] think 20ome years and was leaving and I [06:10] said to Brandon and this was in the age [06:12] of George Santos and um the guy the [06:15] handicapped guy from North Carolina [06:16] whose name is my [06:17] >> Madison Gothor. [06:18] >> Madison Gothor and I said Brandon you're [06:20] running to be a congressman the youngest [06:22] member of the Republican delegation. [06:25] Every y'all other young Republicans is [06:27] embarrassing themselves right now. This [06:28] is a man who's been there for 25 years. [06:30] you have to impress you're going to take [06:32] the job very seriously and this is not a [06:34] joke and Brandon Brandon absolutely made [06:36] that very clear and he's always made [06:38] that clear that this is a real job this [06:39] is not a he doesn't need this to become [06:41] like political famous he has no interest [06:43] in doing that and and I think having his [06:46] father-in-law [06:46] >> I think that comes across like his [06:48] >> no interest yeah he really cares about [06:52] governing he really cares about results [06:54] um he's wickedly smart and um and [06:58] Brandon doesn't doesn't spend a lot of [07:00] on social media or like doing media [07:03] media uh or like not he does media but [07:05] like he doesn't absorb a ton of media so [07:08] the allure of being famous does not [07:10] interest him whatsoever. He really cares [07:12] about the results of it and I think [07:14] wickedly smart and really just um [07:16] finding he found a I I think having that [07:19] natural talent to find like your space [07:22] and your and your and your stuff is is [07:24] very unique, but he found it very [07:25] quickly. And um yeah, he's running for [07:28] um oversight committee chairman now, [07:29] which be it's a very quick move up that [07:31] up that ladder, but he's uh he's [07:34] bringing in tons of money. He's [07:35] fundraising like crazy. He's working [07:37] really hard and um and and that's the [07:40] goal of it. You know, Nicole Malletakus, [07:42] one time I had a candidate running for [07:43] Congress and we had a meeting with [07:45] Nicole Malik Takus. She's the [07:46] congressman from Staten Island [07:47] Republican and she said to me, "Every [07:50] day that you're in office, if you are [07:51] not working for to meet voters, raise [07:54] money or do positive media, you are [07:56] wasting your time." And I think that [07:57] that was a very smart, succinct list of [08:00] things you should be doing always to [08:01] promote yourself as an elected official. [08:04] And um getting lost in social media wars [08:07] is the dumbest part, like the dumbest [08:09] thing. And uh [08:11] >> he's also not bloiating, I think. And [08:13] he's not like making like, you know, no [08:15] offense to some of the people that I [08:16] actually like kind of like, but he's not [08:18] pulling stunts, you know, and I think [08:20] that I think it's [08:21] >> he's not trying to entertain you. [08:23] >> Yeah. I think it's like a nice tone [08:25] shift. I don't know. He's not like [08:26] pulling weird publicity stunts like you [08:29] know like and he's also not sucking up [08:30] to TMZ which I appreciate which I am so [08:33] over AOC and everyone in between doing. [08:36] I think it is I think it's so reductive [08:38] and it looks unprofessional and I'm over [08:40] it. Um [08:42] I want to show you this video. Mitch [08:44] McConnell emerged back into life. He is [08:47] alive. We did not think he was dead for [08:49] whatever it's worth. And I actually [08:50] found like a lot of the commentary [08:51] about, you know, whether or not he was [08:53] alive to be sort of like, you know, in [08:55] poor taste. Um, I want to show you [08:57] number one. Uh, he was put in a [08:59] wheelchair and, uh, pushed outside of [09:01] his home. The 84year-old Republican uh, [09:03] said he is not fully recovered, but he [09:05] wants to continue to return to the [09:07] Senate and not miss any votes. Number [09:09] one, please. Okay, so here's a video of [09:11] him in his car. Uh, you know, I would [09:15] have preferred for him to say something [09:16] to the cameras to like, you know, speak [09:18] and say, "Hey, I'm feeling better. I'm [09:20] going back." He wasn't seen for 93 days, [09:23] which is a long time. Look, Ashley's [09:25] shaking her head right here because it's [09:26] uncomfortable to watch that video. I [09:28] think we should be realistic here that [09:29] he doesn't look spritly, if you will. He [09:32] looks like he's maybe still ill. I don't [09:34] know what I feel weird talking about [09:36] this because it's just so like Oh, [09:37] excuse me. Because it's so um, [09:39] >> you know, it's kind of icky. I don't [09:41] know. What do you what do you think of [09:42] this? Uh he will be retiring in January, [09:44] but what a sad way for him to end his [09:46] career. [09:46] >> Uh you know, we're of a certain age. [09:49] There was a time when your dad was in [09:51] the Senate in like the mid 2000s where [09:54] like your dad was considered middle-aged [09:56] for a senator at the time where the [09:58] Senate was really old. Like I think the [10:00] two senators from Hawaii were in their [10:01] 90s. Um the Democrat, former clans [10:04] member from West Virginia, Bird, he was [10:07] like he was circling around a hundred. [10:09] He at one point had to come in straight [10:11] from the hospital to vote for Obamacare. [10:12] I think he was parallel to the floor at [10:15] the time. Like I mean the senator from [10:17] from Alaska was like close to his 90s. I [10:20] mean there was a lot of 90 year olds. [10:22] And I just think look I mean he's [10:24] serving the last few months. Mitch [10:26] McConnell is a legendary politician. [10:28] He's never lost an election. I'm sure he [10:31] doesn't want to go. I'm sure this is not [10:32] his ideal way of leaving his legacy, but [10:36] um but it's I'm not I'm not shocked that [10:39] a man who's not well is is voting [10:42] because Bob Bird was I think he died [10:44] very quickly after his vote for [10:46] Obamacare. Um and and [10:48] >> I can actually remember, sorry to [10:50] interrupt you, I can actually remember [10:51] seeing him in the Senate dining hall [10:52] when I went to visit my dad and he was [10:54] in a wheelchair and there was a person [10:56] like a nurse helping him and it was [10:58] clear that he was you know, not co not [11:02] composmentous, if you will, like he was [11:04] very ill and should not have been in the [11:06] Senate. So, [11:07] >> right, and he was still voting. So, I'm [11:08] not shocked. This doesn't like this [11:10] isn't like altering to me because when I [11:13] was a teenager in my early 20s, there [11:15] were tons of senators who were, you [11:17] know, older than Mitch McConnell still [11:18] doing this and we're not in great [11:20] health. Um, I'm sure that this is not [11:22] how you like to do it. I guess it's a [11:24] good thing that he's he's kind of [11:26] filling out the legacy for the last five [11:28] months and he's doing it in the best [11:30] terms he possibly can, but he's, you [11:32] know, he's not he's not doing well. [11:34] >> I want to show you a last question for [11:36] you. Uh, so I don't know if you saw [11:38] this, but Gavin Newsome did an interview [11:40] with Jake Tapper, and I would just like [11:42] to say something. If Jake Tapper or [11:43] Gavin Newsome are under the impression [11:45] that I am going to believe that either [11:46] of these people are fly fishermen or do [11:48] anything outdoors or in any way [11:50] frontiersmen, I mean, I'm sorry, but I [11:52] have some beachfront property in Arizona [11:54] to sell you. It is ridiculous. [11:57] Kabuki theater that I am supposed to [11:59] believe that these two men fish. Come [12:01] on. Like, what are we doing here? These [12:03] are the like the biggest I could I could [12:05] in a fight I would put these two men in [12:07] the hospital. I'm But I'm scrappy and [12:10] from Arizona. I want to show you this [12:11] clip. I just don't understand what Jake [12:12] Topper is doing. He's doing this like [12:14] series of interviews that are supposed [12:16] to be like outside the studio, but again [12:17] like [12:18] >> you are not tough. Gavin Newsome's not [12:21] tough. I'm so like come on. I want to [12:22] show this clip to you, Ryan. Number two, [12:25] where Gavin Newsome said he is uh Well, [12:26] I'll let you read for himself. He talks [12:28] about what he's if he's going to run for [12:29] president or not. Number two, [12:31] >> it's a lot of Democrats. [12:32] >> 31 flavors. And [12:34] >> you're not even the only Californian. [12:35] >> No. Right. Yeah. [12:36] >> You got Roana. Yeah. [12:38] >> Kamla. [12:39] >> Yeah. I don't know if she runs, but [12:40] we'll see. I know she's called around. [12:42] >> Yeah, but I I wouldn't run if she ran. [12:45] >> You if she runs, you you will not. [12:47] >> Of course not. Why would I? [12:50] >> I wouldn't do that to her. I wouldn't do [12:51] it to me. Why would I wouldn't do that [12:52] to you? I wouldn't waste everyone's [12:54] time. Who needs that? [12:55] >> What do you mean? That doesn't even make [12:58] sense to me. [12:58] >> I just I wouldn't I No, I wouldn't. [13:02] But first of all, electorally, it's a [13:04] gift from God for everybody else. They [13:06] enjoy the hell out of it. Mutual assured [13:07] destruction. It It services no greater [13:10] good. I mean, you you do whatever you [13:11] want. I don't care. But like but but [13:14] like counterargument would be like, you [13:15] know, she she had a shot. [13:17] >> Yeah. [13:17] >> And you've never run and she's she's run [13:19] twice. [13:20] >> Yeah. That I mean that would be the [13:22] that'd be the approach to the campaign. [13:24] Certainly. That would be the case you'd [13:25] make. Pretty good one actually. You you [13:27] know that's that's objectively true. I [13:30] just um but I know what that means. I [13:33] know her base of supporters. I know her [13:35] friends. The zen diagram on that is just [13:38] pure crossover. It's not I wouldn't do [13:40] that to I wouldn't do that. [13:43] >> Okay, just I want you to talk one [13:44] second, Ryan, but I have to say a few [13:45] things. They're not wearing waiters. [13:47] Where are your waiters? Why are you just [13:48] wearing [13:49] >> That's what I was going to say. Wait, [13:50] why are they water? [13:51] >> Why are they in their regular pants? [13:53] >> I know. [13:54] >> Why are they in their regular pants? [13:55] >> WHY ARE YOU NOT I DON'T UNDERSTAND. [13:56] Number one. Number two, I did not watch [13:59] this whole thing because why the hell [14:00] would I watch this whole thing? But I [14:02] want to see how many fish you caught [14:03] because I love to fly fish. It's one of [14:05] my favorite things. It's all about being [14:07] as gentle as possible to get the line on [14:10] the water because you want it to imitate [14:11] like a fly or a bug landing on the [14:13] water. It is gentle. It is meditative. [14:16] Like it is a very delicate way to fish. [14:18] Gavin Newsome is like using his wrist. [14:21] What are you doing? You do not fish. You [14:23] do not fly fish. Oh my god. And you're [14:25] not wearing waiters and you're wearing a [14:27] V-neck look like a cashmere shirt. What [14:29] is I can't take it right. It's so [14:32] stupid. And then [14:34] >> with with with like with like tuxedo [14:35] pants. It makes no I don't know what's [14:37] going on. [14:38] >> I know. I know. [14:40] >> I had not watched it as much as I had [14:42] listened to it and I was just so [14:44] distracted by what they were wearing. I [14:45] go, "What is going If they have sneakers [14:48] on, I would throw up." Um [14:50] >> I know. So, um I'm sorry. I had to [14:54] collect myself. So, [14:56] >> no. It's so distracting. It is so [14:57] distract Ashley's laughing like it's so [14:59] distracting. It is really Those men do [15:01] not fish. Also, you're too clean. I And [15:03] also, wait, did they catch any fish? [15:06] >> I want to know. [15:07] >> I don't think so. [15:08] >> There's no way they did. Like, come on. [15:10] Let's They As soon as that segment [15:12] ended, they left. I mean, whatever. So, [15:15] um, Kla Harris and Gavin Newsome have [15:17] had a decadesl long rivalry. Like, they [15:19] have always had a rivalry. Very [15:21] famously, it was KL who wanted to run [15:23] for governor and Gavin announced before [15:25] she could do it, so she ran for the [15:27] Senate. Like, they've always they've [15:28] never been particularly warm. And [15:30] remember, Gavin Newsome was one of the [15:32] biggest supporters of Biden's [15:35] re-election campaign. And the minute [15:37] that Biden dropped out and it was Kamla, [15:39] Kamla kicked Nuome off of the airwaves [15:42] and said, "You're not going to be [15:43] voicing support for you're not going to [15:45] be doing the media and representing us." [15:47] Like, so uh and the surrogate, you're [15:48] not going to be our surrogate. So, they [15:50] have not liked each other for a very, [15:52] very long time. [15:54] Here's the thing, and Mark Halpern said [15:56] this, and I will credit I did I I talked [15:59] about this on my podcast. I said, and I [16:00] credited Mark Halpern. Mark Halpern has [16:02] said forever, Gavin Newsome does not [16:04] want to run. His family does not want [16:05] him to run. And he is going to look for [16:06] an offramp any which way that he can. [16:09] And I think this is the beginning of the [16:11] offramp because Kamla is very clearly [16:13] running for president. She's making the [16:14] round. She's going to fund donors. She [16:17] is going to the black caucuses. She's [16:18] campaigning in Georgia, I think, now. [16:20] And she was invited to campaign in [16:22] Florida. She is doing the things you [16:25] would do to run for president. And this [16:27] is Kamla's dream. She's always wanted to [16:28] do this. And she's got huge support from [16:30] the black voters right now in in the [16:32] South. She could clobber him in South [16:35] Carolina in the first of the of the [16:37] nation's primaries for Democrats. And I [16:39] think that um yeah, I think that she I [16:42] think that this is his offramp that he [16:44] does not want. If Kla Harris runs and [16:47] she is nominated, um I would like you to [16:49] meet me in New York so we can go [16:50] shopping for our outfits for President [16:52] Vance's uh coronation inauguration. [16:55] Okay? Because if she is nominated, I [16:57] will buy an outfit for uh I will buy an [17:00] evening gown for that. I'm just going to [17:01] tell you. But nominate her away. Ryan, [17:03] uh thank you so much for doing this last [17:05] minute. I really appreciate it. I adore [17:07] you. I just think you're one of the most [17:08] brilliant minds in the game, hands down. [17:11] And I just adore you. [17:13] >> I adore you, too. Thank you guys so much [17:15] for having me. You know, I love you, Megan, [19:03] and I haven't seen you [19:05] >> and talked to you since you had your [19:06] beautiful little boy. [19:07] >> You had your baby. [19:08] >> I had your baby, too. [19:10] >> I had my little girl, and I'm [19:11] manifesting. I mean, this is very far [19:13] away, but that the two of them meet and [19:15] marry in 20. [19:17] >> Me, too. Are you kidding? Because, you [19:19] know, I'm obsessed with your mom. [19:20] >> As long as they can as long as they can [19:22] get married in Sedona, I I'm totally for [19:24] it. [19:26] >> As long as your mother is there and I [19:27] can sit next to her and drink wine and [19:29] kiki, this is done. Yeah. [19:31] >> Can I tell you the amount of people that [19:33] are always telling me they want to sit [19:34] and drink wine with my mother? It [19:36] happens all the time and I like really [19:38] appreciate it, but I think it's because [19:40] I have this theory and then we will like [19:41] get to things, but I have this theory. [19:43] It's because she's so expensive. And I [19:45] think in this era of like everyone's [19:47] trying to like downplay being like a [19:48] rich old lady. She's like, "No, I'm [19:50] Cindy McCain and like I sleep in [19:51] Chanel." And I think she has I know she [19:54] has the best gossip about everybody. She [19:56] always has the best gossip. And if you [19:57] get a Chardonnay in here, just one, she [20:00] will talk [ __ ] But you got to get one [20:01] in and then then she'll get going. [20:03] >> Well, here's the thing, okay? And then [20:04] we'll move on. But your mom is such a [20:06] class act and I really need her advice [20:08] because I'm so trashy. So when I meet [20:12] Cindy, I'm like, okay, Cindy, how do you [20:14] do it, girl? Like, how do you gossip a [20:16] little, but remains such a class act. So [20:18] anyhow, that Yeah, she's classy when she [20:21] gossips, but it's very like bless her [20:22] heart. Like they're so ill advised with [20:25] whatever. But I anytime you want to meet [20:26] my mom, we could call her right now. [20:28] Like anytime you want, but thank you. Do [20:29] I love my mom? Um, first of all, how is [20:31] baby life? Like, you know, you have a [20:33] six-month-old. You were on a journey as [20:35] well, fertility journey, and I just want [20:38] updates on all of that. [20:39] >> Yeah. Well, you and I both have shared, [20:41] unfortunately, the tragic thing of [20:42] having a miscarriage, which is so hard, [20:46] >> horrible. I had four on and off. I have [20:49] two healthy babies. My son is five and [20:51] my little girl Harper is six. And, you [20:53] know, I became a mom later in life. And [20:55] so, I ended up using an egg donor for [20:57] Harper. I have zero regrets. It was the [20:59] best decision ever. I had a, you know, [21:02] the pregnancy was like, it was fine, but [21:04] there were lots of hiccups. I had a [21:06] little bit of spotting and bleeding [21:07] first trimester. So, I just had to lay [21:09] low and mentally, you know, be kind of [21:12] zen. And it all worked out. Had a great [21:14] birth. And it's good. I mean, I have a [21:16] lot going on as I know you do. And the [21:18] other thing is like my mom moved in to [21:20] our house in January and she has [21:21] dementia. So, she goes to adult [21:24] >> Yeah. She goes to adult daycare all day [21:26] and then lives with us at night. So I [21:28] it's like I have three children. I know [21:30] what you're going through and um it's [21:32] good. I'm just in a season of my life [21:33] where they come first and then [21:35] everything else comes second and I'm [21:37] happy that way. It's it's great. And you [21:39] know when your hit your head hits that [21:41] pillow at 9:30 at night, it's like you [21:43] are out. [21:43] >> Gosh. [21:44] >> Yeah. I never have I have since I've had [21:46] children, I've never had to take a [21:47] sleeping pill again. That's not a lie. I [21:48] just I am so tired by the end of the [21:50] day. One thing that's interesting about [21:51] what you're saying is that I have been I [21:53] I had a meeting with my lawyer and my [21:55] agent recently and they were like [21:57] basically saying like do you want to be [21:58] doing more? And I was like I don't I [22:01] actually don't. I was like because I do [22:03] all my pickup and drop offs with the [22:05] kids. I do like you know make their [22:07] breakfast and lunch like take them to [22:09] the dance and music and all the all the [22:11] things and it's extremely timeconuming. [22:14] Um but I don't want to be doing anything [22:15] different because like you it took me a [22:17] while to get here. Um, but it's it's [22:20] interesting. I never thought I'd be a [22:21] woman that would be like, I'm cool doing [22:23] this amount of shows, this amount of [22:24] whatever because I used to just go like [22:26] an animal, and I'm sure you did, too. [22:28] >> Yeah. And I loved your clip the other [22:30] day, too, about how we don't want to be [22:31] wives. I don't There's no way I have the [22:33] time to [22:33] >> Can we talk about that in a second? [22:35] Yeah. Go ahead. Sorry. [22:36] >> No, I I mean, there's no way I'm sitting [22:37] around cultivating sourdough, you know? [22:39] I mean, whatever you have to do with it [22:40] in a jar before you make it into bread. [22:42] I mean, hell no. But I'm so with you. I [22:45] am loving this season. I do bedtimes and [22:48] breakfasts and mornings and they're [22:49] little conversations. It's and I'm [22:52] cherishing this these moments with my [22:54] mom as I'm also seeing her slip away. I [22:56] don't want to be doing anything else. I [22:58] don't I don't do anything else. I don't [23:00] pitch myself a lot or anything because I [23:02] just I love it and I know there'll be a [23:04] period again where they'll be more [23:06] independent and I can do all that. So, [23:08] I'm with you. I I think you're doing an [23:10] amazing job, too. It's so nice to be [23:12] home with them. They love They love it [23:14] at this age. You're doing amazing, too. [23:17] I mean, your podcast is such a huge [23:18] success, and every one of my girlfriends [23:20] listens to it, which is really saying [23:22] something. They all everybody listens to [23:24] you, Heather McDonald, and The Nerve. [23:25] It's like the three like are the main [23:28] people giving us all our culture [23:29] information, which is amazing. Um, but [23:32] like you the I know you don't work in [23:34] the political space, which is fine. It's [23:36] not necessarily just a political issue, [23:37] but um in conservative politics, there [23:40] is this big momentum of like women have [23:42] to be in the Pride wife space. you had [23:44] to have have kids like seven kids [23:46] starting when you were 25 and you know I [23:48] have a very easy Google history like [23:49] someone sent me a picture recently sadly [23:51] we'll get to the pres Hilton [23:53] conversation in a little bit but a [23:54] picture of me and him and remember Chewy [23:57] from uh uh Chelsea Handler and then some [24:00] comedians that used to be on Chelsea [24:02] Hley like and I just look you know not [24:04] sober I think I'm holding a bottle of [24:05] champagne I was like 24 you know I'm 40 [24:08] almost 42 and I don't regret any of this [24:12] like I don't regret the fact that like [24:14] I'm really good at gambling because I [24:16] used to go to Vegas all the time. Like I [24:17] had like a whole life. I you know I [24:19] dated people. I was even engaged before [24:21] I got married to my husband. Like I'm [24:23] not embarrassed and I'm not going to be [24:25] shamed for the fact that I too don't [24:27] want to make sourdough. There's a [24:28] wonderful bakery down the street for me [24:30] that makes the most incredible bread. I [24:32] don't feel the need to compete with [24:34] them. I don't I really like my skill [24:36] set. Why do you think it is? Because we [24:38] see it with um Ballerina Farm. Nara [24:40] Smith, even though I know she recently [24:42] came out on Caller Daddy and said, "I'm [24:44] not." [24:44] >> Yeah, it was sad. And her child [24:46] >> and her daughter. [24:47] >> Oh my god. [24:49] >> Yeah. Oh, you know why I think it is? [24:51] Well, I think they make it look great [24:52] and easy, right? I mean, ballerina [24:54] farms, first of all, she gives me [24:55] anxiety when I watch her. I mean, it's [24:57] just so many steps. I mean, my god, the [24:58] garden alone, cuts all the I'm like, h, [25:02] oh my god, she's, you know, and then [25:03] they've got a hundred kids in this stove [25:05] that looks like it's from 1942, but it's [25:08] $250,000. She gives me so much anxiety, [25:10] but I think they make it look beautiful [25:13] and people don't see all the work. And [25:15] of course, we know Ballerina Farms. And [25:17] I'm not taking anything away from her. I [25:18] think she's got a great brand. And the [25:20] irony is she might be a trad wife, but [25:21] she's made a fortune off of her [25:23] croissants you can order and all. I I [25:25] actually like her. I'm not criticizing [25:27] her, but she, you know, her husband is [25:29] JetBlue Money and, you know, I mean, [25:31] they have plenty of money. So, I'm sure [25:33] there's a big staff behind the scenes, [25:35] but I think part of the movement is [25:37] people are now realizing so much of [25:39] online is fake, but I think a lot of [25:41] these tribe wives make it look great. [25:43] They make it look fun. Who who doesn't [25:44] want to be in the kitchen all day? But [25:46] that's really not, you know, it's very [25:48] stressful. So, I think they made it look [25:49] great and now there's and I mean too, I [25:52] think there's a a part a resurgence, [25:54] right? Everything is cyclical. So, I [25:56] think there's this kind of movement to [25:57] go back to the 50s and 60s. And I think [26:01] it's so layered, don't you? [26:04] >> I think the girl boss movement, the girl [26:05] boss movement when we were younger, like [26:07] you know, in our late 20s, 30s was a [26:09] total lie and fed a lot of lies to a lot [26:12] of women. I think Cheryl Samberg did a [26:14] lot of damage with her lean-in that [26:16] which, you know, left out, which there's [26:17] been, you know, copious amount of think [26:19] pieces written about how it was left out [26:21] people of color, people in poverty. Like [26:23] there are some people that just will [26:25] never be able to lean in given their [26:26] economic circumstances they were born [26:28] into and the opportunities they didn't [26:29] have. So, I think a lot of that was a [26:31] lie and it's a backlash to that. Um, and [26:34] I think there's a lot of stuff happening [26:35] just politically that it's a backlash to [26:38] um in regards to like, you know, you [26:40] know, there's like actual data that like [26:41] Democrats have less kids than [26:42] Republicans do. Um, but I think all of [26:45] this is very tenuous, very testy. Um, [26:48] you know, as as you know, you know, my [26:50] audience is like it's like Ashley 85 90% [26:54] female. I like I like cannot catch a [26:55] dick to consume anything I say anymore. [26:57] Like men do not they do not want to hear [26:59] what I have to say. Like Ryan Gdoski is [27:01] the only one. Um but I take that I [27:04] actually like take pride in that. Like I [27:05] think that's precious. And the women who [27:07] follow me, some of them are single, some [27:09] of them haven't met the right guy, some [27:11] of them didn't want to have kids, some [27:12] of them couldn't have kids. And I don't [27:14] think that means you can't be here [27:15] having a voice and part of the movement. [27:17] And that's why I'm so worried about [27:19] about the messaging coming out, if that [27:21] makes sense. [27:22] >> No, I agree with you 100%. And look, I [27:24] mean, I was almost the girl boss, you [27:26] know? I almost fell for that. I And I [27:28] did in a way. I mean, I waited so long [27:30] to have kids by the time I realized like [27:33] being a girl boss is not all that it's [27:35] cracked up to be. I was like over 35. [27:38] So, I had my son after like a horrible [27:41] miscarriage. I had my son. And then [27:43] after that, it was like you can't really [27:45] conceive anymore. I mean, I, you know, [27:47] I'm a I'm definitely a person that [27:50] believed like career was it and marriage [27:52] and children would hinder that. And then [27:54] I sort of woke up at 35 and realized, oh [27:57] my god, you know, this is like, okay, [27:59] great, you hit another milestone [28:01] financially, but is that all there is? [28:03] Like, it just it didn't fulfill me. And [28:06] I'm so glad I didn't miss out on having [28:08] children and a and a husband. It's just [28:10] been amazing. And it's helped my career. [28:12] >> Yeah, having kids and a husband helped [28:14] me, too. I got I can I will never forget [28:16] this when um I I was like at the height [28:18] of like View everything and the show won [28:21] uh best best news show and it was the [28:23] show's only won two Emmys in its entire [28:24] history and one was the one of the [28:26] seasons I was on which I'm still really [28:27] proud of and I was like I am supposed to [28:30] be loving this and I am [ __ ] [28:33] miserable. Everything in my life I'm [28:35] miserable. I mean not my my husband but [28:37] like professionally I was just like I [28:38] don't want to do this anymore. And I [28:40] remember at the time being like, but I [28:42] was told that I'm supposed to like that [28:43] this was it. That all my all my [28:45] happiness would glean from this. And [28:47] that was my first like maybe I should [28:49] have a kid. Like maybe that's the, you [28:52] know, part of it. So I get it. But I I [28:54] still think we need to at least like in [28:56] politically people need to be really [28:58] careful. And I think the childless cat [28:59] lady stuff has had real damage. I do. I [29:02] think it's like hurt a lot of people. [29:03] >> I'm with you. As I've gotten older, I [29:05] agree with you 100%. And I think people [29:08] women especially are just so [29:09] disillusioned with the corporate world [29:11] and there's so much joy in having a [29:13] family and I think there's so much joy [29:14] in slowing down like we have you and I [29:16] have so much time to do all these other [29:18] career things that we want to do and [29:20] it's like enjoy the kids now it will all [29:23] happen. [29:24] >> Yeah, I hope so. I really hope so. Um do [29:27] you mind uh if there anything else you [29:29] want to say just like again your [29:30] personal life? You're so inspiring to so [29:31] many people and really been on such a [29:33] journey. I really appreciate women that [29:34] are open about fertility issues. I've [29:36] had three miscarriages. I'm very open [29:37] about it. I'm not like, you know, I'm [29:39] not ashamed. Um, but people people still [29:43] talk to me about it because I think [29:44] there are some women who don't want to [29:45] talk about it, which I understand. It's [29:47] hard. Um, I agree with you and I feel [29:49] the same way about egg donor. A lot of [29:50] people don't want to talk about that. [29:52] They're very nervous because they feel [29:54] like, oh my gosh, you know, people find [29:56] out this child isn't exactly my DNA. But [29:59] I would just say this to any woman [30:00] listening or couple that want to have a [30:02] kid, use an egg donor 100%. The moment [30:05] the baby's here, that baby is so yours. [30:07] And I see a lot of women grapple. They [30:09] do rounds and rounds and rounds of IVF. [30:11] They spend so much money. It doesn't [30:13] work. Especially as you get older. And I [30:16] if you are on the fence, if you are and [30:18] some women religiously, I'm Catholic. I [30:20] did have a very religious family member [30:22] tell me like you shouldn't be doing [30:24] this. I honestly don't give a [ __ ] Uh [30:26] hopefully I can curse on your show. I [30:27] don't give a rip. [30:29] >> The greatest thing I ever did was have [30:30] these babies. They bring so much joy to [30:32] everyone. So, if you are listening and [30:34] you're on the fence, you've done six [30:36] rounds of IVF, which many of my friends [30:38] have and it hasn't worked, do an egg [30:39] donor. You'll never regret it and it's [30:42] the best thing that's ever happened in [30:43] my family. [30:45] >> I love it. I love it. And [30:46] congratulations again. Like I said, I [30:48] love seeing all your posts on social [30:49] media. [30:50] >> Um, I have like 30 hot topics for you. [30:53] So, it's kind of like pick your poison. [30:55] Look, I have wanted to talk about Kim [30:56] Ziaak on the show, but I will tell you [30:59] Sarah, you've done some amazing content [31:01] of it. I am just gonna be really honest [31:02] with you. I've had a really hard time [31:05] consuming this story because it's I [31:07] think the darkest story to ever come [31:09] from reality television ever. I would [31:11] argue it's worse than the Dugers. I [31:13] mean, comparable because it's this is a [31:14] story about incest uh allegedly. Uh no, [31:17] not allegedly. He's he's charged with [31:19] that. But for people that don't know, [31:20] Kim Zoliaak, who is the was the one of [31:23] the original Atlanta Housewives, uh had [31:25] Don't Be Tardy for the Party, huge show [31:27] on Bravo. Um, and again, I feel like I [31:30] really need to say a trigger warning, [31:31] and I really never say that, but I do [31:33] feel like if anyone has like sexual [31:35] assault or incest things, just skip over [31:37] this. Uh, anyway, her um son KJ uh is [31:43] indicted as an adult in Georgia on seven [31:45] felony sex crime charges stemming from [31:47] an April incident involving a [31:48] 15-year-old girl. He was granted a [31:50] $2,000 uh bond with extreme restrictive [31:53] conditions. Um he was also uh accused it [31:58] came out in the courtroom that he was [32:00] accused there was like videos found on [32:02] his phone of him allegedly having sex [32:05] with a family member. I mean he did have [32:07] sex with a family member. It is believed [32:08] that it is his younger sister. That is [32:11] not proven. It's alleged, but that's [32:12] what the internet seems to believe. Um [32:15] Kim publicly defended her son and went [32:17] after the woman who or excuse me the [32:19] young girl who accused him of sexual [32:21] assault. I don't know what like Sarah, [32:24] it is so disgusting and dark and [32:27] horrific and from like a nightmare [32:28] monster hell house. It's like a I can't [32:31] even get over how [ __ ] disgusting [32:32] this is. Like it is it is a hellscape. [32:36] Let's just try and break down some of [32:37] this. Is there anything else you want to [32:39] you know explain to the audience or to [32:40] me about the the charges and uh the you [32:43] know this criminal case? [32:45] >> A couple of things that people should [32:46] know. So a KJ Beerman is 15 years old. [32:49] So, a lot of people are were very [32:51] disturbed over the past month because he [32:53] was actually arrested on August 17th for [32:55] allegedly sodomizing a classmate. Okay. [32:57] He tried to attack her at a gym. He he [32:59] forced her onto him. So, and then forced [33:02] himself onto her allegedly. This is this [33:05] is where this court date was. And he was [33:07] arrested and not given bond initially, [33:10] kept in juvenile, which is very rare for [33:12] juvenile individuals. They're usually [33:14] released because they are underage to a [33:17] parent guardian. So people immediately [33:19] had some like that's odd. You know what [33:22] is so shocking about this is in a [33:24] courtroom on September 11th we found out [33:28] and this has come to light because the [33:29] state of Georgia wants to charge him as [33:31] an adult and then he could be looking at [33:32] 25 years to life for sexual assault if [33:36] found guilty in that September 11th [33:38] courtroom. One of the reasons that [33:40] prosecutors wanted to hold him is [33:42] because they said he had done this [33:43] before in 2025 and he had gone to now he [33:47] would have been 12 at this time. He gone [33:50] to great lengths to hide videos in [33:52] folders on his phone of him assaulting a [33:56] family member, a minor, not even [33:58] assaulting, having sex with. So it is [34:02] people were like just shocked. Could not [34:06] believe this. Probably the worst story [34:07] that's ever happened to Bravo. Very [34:09] interesting. Of course, you know, you [34:10] see a lot of the Bravo creators, nobody [34:12] not a lot of people are are are covering [34:14] this because obviously Bravo has been [34:16] distant from Kim for a while, but they [34:18] really don't want any association with [34:20] it now. I mean, she and her husband went [34:22] on to do Don't Be Tardy. They got their [34:24] own reality show on Bravo for a hot [34:25] minute. [34:26] >> It is. [34:27] >> It's still on Peacock [34:29] >> right now. I can't even believe they [34:31] have it pulled. Okay, that's crazy. So [34:33] then, you know, then it comes out like [34:35] he he tried to hide these videos. On top [34:38] of that, he had been also harassing this [34:41] minor victim, pulling their hair, lewd [34:44] things, sexual comments, and then his [34:46] attorney, interestingly enough, which a [34:48] lot of people are speculating about on [34:49] September 11th in that courtroom goes, [34:51] "Well, you're blowing out of proportion [34:53] these these videos of him harassing and [34:55] pulling hair of the minor, but I haven't [34:58] seen the videos of him allegedly having [35:00] sex with a family member." Now, I don't [35:02] know. Do you believe that from Jason [35:03] Sheffield, the attorney? I mean, he's [35:05] been working with KJ Beerman for over a [35:09] month. I mean, was that because he [35:10] didn't really have a good answer for it? [35:12] You know, I don't know. That seems [35:14] strange to me, right? I mean, he he [35:15] knows why they want to why they want to [35:17] charge this kid as an adult. But this is [35:20] why it's all coming to light for this [35:22] 15-year-old. I mean, the whole thing is [35:24] unbelievable. Unbelievable because [35:26] usually underage situations like this [35:29] don't come to light. But this has been [35:30] going on since 2025. And then the story [35:33] that you're talking about with the [35:34] younger sister Kaa who's now 12, would [35:38] have been 9 years old in 2025 is a TMZ [35:41] story is now come back to light of her [35:44] being sent to live with Croy's parents [35:46] for a summer. And what was strange in [35:49] that story that nobody really picked up [35:51] on at the time was she was only allowed [35:53] to use a flip phone and no contact with [35:55] boys. And people were like, "Well, [35:57] that's odd for a nine 10-year-old. Like, [35:59] why would that be happening?" You know, [36:01] Kim and Croy are the ones that are [36:02] fighting. Why would the grandpar So [36:04] that's how the internet is putting all [36:06] these situations together. KJ Beerman's [36:09] been released to Kim Zuliaak and a lot [36:11] of people are like, "Really?" Like she [36:14] >> I agree with that. It's crazy. [36:16] >> Yeah. [36:17] He's not going to be solely ancelet on [36:21] school. Cannot have contact with the [36:23] minor. So the other kids are not living [36:26] with Kim and you know has to do of [36:28] course all these court check-ins. One [36:30] last detail and then any questions you [36:32] have. But the thing I think too that [36:33] people were so shocked about in that [36:35] September 11th hearing, it also came out [36:37] that he is still on probation for this [36:39] incident with a family member till 2027. [36:42] And part of his treatment involved going [36:43] to sex offender treatment. So he [36:46] attended at 13 12 13 years old. He was [36:49] taking sex offender treatment and he's [36:51] been under a psych eval. To me that's a [36:53] kid again it's court ordered but I mean [36:56] they have to seriously believe there is [36:58] something you know deeply troubling [37:01] about this individual. I mean the whole [37:04] story is is just so disturbing as you [37:06] said from the start. It's hor I think [37:09] this is the worst story I've read in a [37:11] culture space that I can remember short [37:13] of like you know the I mean it's [37:15] different but like maybe like the Riner [37:17] you know having his throat like it's [37:19] like that comparable of darkness like [37:21] demonic like whatever but I have a few I [37:23] have a few things I want to ask you [37:25] about this because a um look I've always [37:28] thought she was disgusting. I actually [37:30] was never a fan of hers. I thought, you [37:32] know, uh the her even when I was like [37:35] much younger, I was like, but her whole [37:36] plotline on the show is that she's like [37:37] sleeping with a married man. I don't [37:40] like that. You know, Kim Nene Leaks [37:42] famously closed her legs to married men. [37:43] She said that on the show. Um I just [37:46] thought she was like gross and trashy. [37:48] Uh like, you know, and I know there's [37:50] like, it's dumb as this may sound, but I [37:52] love reality TV. There can be gross [37:54] trashy people like like a like Jersey [37:57] Shore that I don't find offensive where [37:59] I'm just like they're just crazy reality [38:01] people. I actually always thought she [38:03] was kind of repulsive. I also met her [38:04] one time and she was gross. Um but [38:06] that's like a whole other thing. Um it [38:08] was briefly. It wasn't like a big thing. [38:10] Um clearly you and your husband have [38:13] raised a child in a house of horrors [38:14] because I am going to put blame on them [38:16] for for at least some of it. I mean what [38:18] the [ __ ] did you do that your son is ra [38:22] Excuse me. I know I'm not allowed to say [38:23] that, but essaying your whatever I'm [38:24] allowed to say on YouTube, your daughter [38:26] and you choose to send her away and he's [38:28] still allowed to be out among among [38:30] society. So, what does Bravo do in this? [38:33] Because what I think is so tricky and [38:36] Bravo's been having a lot of like issues [38:38] right now as it is in the sense that [38:39] like you know I feel like Sarah I get so [38:43] many lost Bravo ex-housewives coming to [38:46] me after they've said the wrong thing [38:48] politically after they've done you know [38:50] they've they've been cancelled for [38:51] whatever political issue and they're not [38:53] allowed to be on the show anymore coming [38:54] to me in my community and we give them [38:56] support. Some people you can probably [38:58] guess like Amory Wy who's a friend has [39:00] been on the show. other people I don't [39:01] want to be open about because I don't [39:03] want to I don't want to hurt their [39:04] privacy. Um so like what I think is so [39:07] interesting is like Bravo is going to be [39:08] like Amarie Wy you're to the side, you [39:11] know, because of political things she [39:12] said. But like you're still going to [39:14] keep this reality show on Peacock after [39:16] this happened and they could get money [39:18] or whatever. Why the hell haven't you [39:19] taken that down? No, that show should [39:21] not be on air anymore. [39:23] 110%. 110%. Yeah, it is it is shocking [39:27] that we haven't heard anything. And like [39:28] I said, I also I'm really surprised a [39:30] lot of other Bravo content creators [39:32] aren't covering this. It makes me wonder [39:33] like what is going on at the network? [39:36] Like what is being said, why? And don't [39:38] quote me. I got to go look and I'm sure [39:40] your audience can um even chime in on [39:43] this, but you know, I wonder I feel like [39:44] was Kim back for a cameo recently? I [39:46] know she was on W watch What Happens [39:48] Live, but I don't know if she's done a [39:50] cameo because one of her daughters of [39:52] course is on NextGen NYC, her oldest [39:55] daughter, but I feel like she's even [39:57] popped up on Bravo recently. I'm with [40:00] you. I think it's shocking because they [40:01] certainly have cut other women [40:03] immediately that disagreed with, you [40:05] know, their political beliefs, but yet [40:08] they're running reruns and making money [40:10] off on Yeah, completely. I mean, Kim and [40:12] Croy absolutely have a responsibility in [40:14] this. I mean, he had a cell phone at 12, [40:17] was hiding sex videos on that phone in [40:19] folders. You're not checking your kid's [40:22] phone all the time. Did he have [40:23] untethered access like that? I I think [40:26] I'm with you. I think, look, it's hard. [40:29] I don't want to judge too much for [40:31] mothers, but with her, it's like Kim is [40:33] always out with a boyfriend. She's [40:35] currently dating a guy who's, you know, [40:36] an entrepreneur and super wealthy, and [40:38] it's like, really, that's your priority? [40:40] These kids, I'm so It's so disgusting to [40:42] me. I wouldn't have a boyfriend at all. [40:44] I'd be beside myself if this [ __ ] was [40:46] happening in my family. I'd be like, [40:47] "Sorry, I can't date anyone. I got to [40:49] figure out the safety and mental [40:50] wellness of my entire family." [40:53] >> What do you think happens to the [40:54] daughters? Like you said, because it's [40:55] Belle and Ariana, I believe. I don't [40:57] watch Next Generation on Bravo, but [40:59] apparently it's very popular and people [41:00] like it and people do like her. And [41:02] look, I don't know what you do in that [41:04] situation, but I will say I read uh [41:06] there was a tweet uh that I saw of a a [41:09] Bravo person, I apologize, I forgot her [41:12] name right at this moment. Uh, but she [41:14] was saying it's obviously going to be [41:16] triggering for people to have these [41:17] girls on TV still, you know, and I don't [41:20] think they should be held necessarily [41:21] accountable for the judgment of their [41:23] mother or their, you know, behavior of [41:25] their brothers. But, you know, you you [41:27] live and die by your connections to your [41:29] family sadly. And like I actually don't [41:32] know how I feel about anyone with the [41:33] last name Zuliaak and that family [41:35] continuing to be on air. I don't know. [41:37] That's a tough call on that one. But how [41:39] was Bravo going to navigate that? And [41:40] then when Ariana or Belle goes on Watch [41:42] what happens live, is Andy going to ask [41:44] him about this? [41:46] >> Well, Andy better. I mean, you know, [41:48] Andy asks everybody else about [41:49] everything else. So, 100%. You know, a [41:52] little bit probably I have a different [41:54] take for Ariana and Belle. I actually [41:56] think they're victims of Kim, too, [41:57] because they both, you know, when she's [42:00] been on Watch What Happens Live, Kim and [42:03] then the girls separately. You know, Kim [42:05] has come to them. These are young girls, [42:07] you know, early 19, 20, 21. in their [42:09] early 20s, but since they were 18, 19, [42:12] Kim has been borrowing money from them [42:14] to pay off debts, to pay the electric [42:16] bill. Odd. Odd. Can you imagine? Odd. [42:19] >> Can you imagine? I mean, yeah. Those [42:22] girls have been out there supporting her [42:24] because Kim is a gambler. I mean, she [42:25] and Croy lost their home in Georgia to [42:28] foreclosure because they couldn't pay [42:29] their debts. I mean those girls have [42:31] worked and then Kim has openly come on [42:34] watch what happens live and said that [42:35] she has taken money from those girls and [42:37] is in the process of paying them back [42:39] from everything from electrical bills to [42:40] paying her debt. So I think those girls [42:43] it's I actually see them both as victims [42:45] too because I think Kim is probably one [42:47] of those mothers that it is just an [42:50] absolute tornado all the time. They're [42:53] trying to keep the family together, keep [42:56] moving forward. They seem like they have [42:57] this, you know, probably addiction to [42:59] Kim that Corey was their dad. Now he's [43:02] not. I mean, they had to live through [43:03] the big papa era when those two girls [43:05] were so little and she was out hooking [43:07] up with a married man. I mean, I think [43:10] they have been at her mercy for a long [43:13] time. To me, Kim and Croy are just [43:15] >> I said this about the Duggar parents. [43:16] They should be investigated as well. the [43:18] Duggar parents and Kim and Croy for [43:20] because [43:21] >> for their kids to be doing that to other [43:23] family members in their household [43:25] allegedly. [43:26] >> Uh, you know, I mean, something sick is [43:28] really going on in those homes. [43:30] >> I agree with you on the Duggars. I [43:32] actually remember I believe I was just [43:34] starting working at Fox News at the [43:35] time. Megan Kelly interviewed the Duggar [43:37] sisters who had been abused after it [43:40] happened and it was a very powerful a [43:42] horrific interview obviously and like [43:43] very powerful. But I think Ariana and [43:46] Belle are at some point going to have to [43:47] do a very very ser to like if they want [43:50] to still have this career. And again, I [43:52] I always say I don't make the rules. I [43:54] can just tell you what the rules are. [43:55] They're going to have to do a very very [43:57] serious interview with a very esteemed [43:59] journalist talking about everything and [44:00] then they can move on with their [44:02] careers. But all of these people in [44:04] their family can't just hide and not [44:05] talk about I mean you can't. And I saw [44:07] the video of Kim and her daughter coming [44:09] out of the um the courthouse and this is [44:12] just maybe again the person who works in [44:14] politics her whole life. I even thought [44:15] their outfits were inappropriate. I I [44:18] was like they're wearing like skin tight [44:19] bodycon dresses. Like I just thought I [44:21] was like god you guys like put on a [44:23] suit. Your your son is accused of the [44:25] most heinous things I've ever heard. I [44:27] hate this story Sarah. I find it so [44:30] awful. Is there anything else you want [44:31] to add? I just last final thing. If you [44:34] were advising Bravo and and the girl, [44:36] what would you tell them to do? [44:38] >> I think you just nailed it. They Belle [44:40] and Ariana, if they want to continue [44:41] with the network, should do a completely [44:43] independent sitdown interview with [44:45] someone who's legit. And obviously, this [44:47] case is ongoing and open. He's going to [44:49] go to trial. We're going to find out if [44:51] it's as an adult or if it's as a [44:52] juvenile. They need to do a totally [44:54] separate interview away from Kim. As far [44:57] as Bravo, they need to cut all ties with [44:58] Kim and Croy 110%. No reruns. I mean, [45:01] they certainly wouldn't do that. They [45:03] wouldn't be running it, I don't think, [45:05] if it was a different situation. [45:06] Although, I'm trying to think if they [45:07] run Kelly Dodd reruns. But anyway, you [45:11] know, you know who they hate. But, um, [45:14] so yeah, I think Bravo needs to [45:17] absolutely. [45:18] And I mean, look, he's been found guilty [45:20] on one of these charges. Yeah. I mean, [45:22] where is Andy? Yes. [45:24] >> The worst story, Sarah? It's the worst. [45:27] >> It is the worst story. I think it's the [45:29] worst. I think I I'm sure there is other [45:31] things that are comparable. It's just [45:32] not going to be to mind. But it's it's [45:33] literally one of the worst stories I've [45:34] ever heard. Uh truly it's it's [45:36] repulsive. It is demonic. It is it is [45:39] like again to hell with all these with [45:41] Kim and Croy. And I leave Croy in it [45:43] too. And I remember seeing and again [45:44] we'll move on from this in a minute. I [45:45] just it's there's so much to this and so [45:47] many dynamics at play with the pop [45:49] culture aspect of Bravo. But I can [45:51] remember seeing body cam footage of Croy [45:53] and Kim. And in one of the videos that [45:55] came out, I believe it was on TMZ, Croy [45:57] is he looks like he's having a mental [45:59] breakdown. And at the time, I couldn't [46:01] really understand. I was like, I get [46:03] that money problems can cause you to, [46:05] you know, react like that. Now I get why [46:07] he was, you know, just Did you see those [46:10] videos? You know what I'm speaking [46:11] about? [46:11] >> Yeah. Oh my god. Yeah. And there was a [46:13] series, I would say, a couple years ago [46:14] where every few months they were on TMZ [46:16] for they calling the police on each [46:18] other to that Georgia home. And the [46:20] police would come, they'd have the body [46:21] cam footage and they would allege abuse [46:23] by each other. And I mean, the kids were [46:25] in the house like that. Like, you know, [46:27] right there, you know, seeing that every [46:28] day. I mean, I'm sure many people in [46:30] your audience grew up living that. It is [46:32] so traumatic to children. So, what KJ [46:35] Beerman has been through, we have no [46:36] idea. I have no I think that house has [46:39] just been a house of complete turmoil [46:41] since those kids were born. And then, [46:43] you know, you heighten that by putting [46:45] them on TV. I mean, they had no they had [46:47] no chance. Yeah, I want to move on to [46:51] sadly another like this is obviously [46:53] another really dark story, but I've been [46:55] wanting to talk about this with you [46:56] since I saw you covering it, too. So, [46:58] uh, Perez Hilton, as we all know, about [47:00] a month ago, did a live stream on TikTok [47:02] that is again one of the worst things [47:03] I've ever seen. He was self-mutilating, [47:06] attempting, uh, to not be alive. I'm [47:09] sorry. I always forget the things you [47:10] can and can't say. [47:11] >> I know. Which people get so mad at me. [47:13] They're like, "Say say the M word." I'm [47:15] like, I would like to say the M word, [47:16] but on social media, you get banned. So, [47:19] everyone has to say in the live to [47:20] themselves. People are like, [47:23] >> my producers going, "Yeah." Uhhuh. Okay. [47:25] And again, I'm not a I'm a real person, [47:27] too. I would say [47:28] >> I I think these are dark things, but [47:30] dark things happen in the world. But [47:31] anyway, on the the video, I actually was [47:34] out with my husband at dinner. When I [47:36] came home, we were just in the kitchen. [47:38] We had like just checked on the kids and [47:39] we were in the kitchen. I was just [47:40] getting some water and we were Oh, no. [47:42] It was there was a election. It was a [47:44] Michigan election, so we were going to [47:45] watch the returns together. And I was [47:47] sitting in the kitchen. I turned on my [47:48] phone and I saw Zack Peter and he was [47:51] like saying all this stuff and he looked [47:52] so scared. Like Zack Peter looked [47:54] horrified. And I was like looking at I [47:55] was like, "This can't be real." And I [47:57] accidentally saw a screenshot of the [47:59] video of it. It seared in my brain [48:01] forever. It's like ISIS beheading video. [48:03] It's horrific. Um, apparently he is, you [48:06] know, his family keeps giving updates. I [48:09] used to know Perez. He's a very [48:11] complicated man. He was always nice to [48:12] me. I mean not I mean not in the heyday [48:14] of whatever but he was nice to you he [48:17] was not but he he apologized and sort of [48:20] atone we be we were friendly as adults [48:22] like he came on he's been on this show [48:23] before um and I was obviously you know [48:26] I'm someone in this kind of state I I [48:29] feel horrible for it I I think it's very [48:31] tragic you have do you have what is your [48:34] opinion on all this because a lot of [48:35] people were saying like not that he [48:37] deserved it necessarily but that like [48:39] you kind of reap what you sow karmically [48:41] I think that's really messed up. I just [48:43] feel horrible for him. [48:45] >> Look, I think there's so much we don't [48:47] know, right, about what happened? And [48:49] there's so many layers to this one as [48:51] well, cuz he'd had those health issues [48:53] 6, eight months ago. He nearly died from [48:55] sepsis, you know, so it's like a lot of [48:58] people are saying, was this a sepsis [49:00] psychosis? [49:01] But then, you know, you also hear he's [49:03] been having financial issues. And I've [49:05] I've met Perez. Perez has been on my [49:07] show a couple times, and Perez is he [49:09] there's something a little odd about [49:10] him. I will say that I, you know, just a [49:12] couple of interactions and times that [49:13] I've met and hung out with him. So I the [49:16] other thing is, you know, I don't know. [49:17] Did he get a little bit of fame again [49:19] from the Blake Lively coverage and then [49:21] that sort of kind of went to his head? [49:24] It It's horrific. It's horrific. And I [49:27] don't know that Perez will ever actually [49:28] be back to be honest. It sounds like [49:31] it's just so [49:33] I mean physically alone, you know, he [49:35] had blood transfusions. He has cuts all [49:37] over his body. He has to have surgery to [49:39] repair whatever he tried, you know, [49:41] damage he did to his own physical body. [49:42] He's got scars. His family did put out a [49:45] update this past week because one of the [49:47] things that I thought was so strange and [49:48] I did cover this because I just thought [49:49] it was so specific is that he's woken up [49:52] from this kind of coma and he thinks [49:53] it's 2016 and he's asking for Katy Perry [49:56] because he [49:57] >> oh my god, [49:58] >> he made Katie sad, [50:00] >> right? It was kind of like very [50:02] specific. So I'm like, God, is this [50:03] true? And this was on our Daily Mail. [50:05] Anyway, then they've come out and [50:07] they're like, "It's not true. He doesn't [50:09] think it's 2016. He knows it's 2026. [50:12] He's not asking for Katy Perry. He [50:14] doesn't have gauze covered all over his [50:15] body, but he is entering a residential [50:17] treatment facility this week, no access [50:20] to phone, internet, and he still has [50:22] they they said it could be, you know, [50:24] weeks, months that he's there getting [50:26] mental and physical health." So, I it is [50:29] what prompted this. I don't know. You [50:31] know, I don't know if the family knows. [50:34] It's a it is an interesting thing like [50:37] he's a sadly this like sort of like beta [50:40] test of like live by the clicks. I don't [50:43] want to say die by the clicks, but like [50:45] if your whole life is valued at what [50:48] people are clicking on and sharing and [50:51] you know if you can't separate like fame [50:53] from reality and I've certainly [50:55] encountered people like that in lots of [50:57] different degrees throughout my life in [50:58] in politics and news media and then [51:00] regular media and just regular [51:02] celebrities like you know people who [51:03] just like it's the only thing that [51:04] matters and I always worry about them [51:07] because at a certain you know as you [51:08] know better than anyone especially in [51:09] this industry there's way ups there's [51:11] way downs you got to like my dad used [51:13] say you just always got to keep it [51:14] steady like a like a pirate ship. Like [51:15] you just got to keep sailing steady and [51:17] do what you can. And I always think that [51:19] cuz like you're going to have high [51:20] highs, you're going to have low lows. I [51:22] certainly have. And I feel like for him [51:24] it's like when the when he wasn't as as [51:27] relevant, he couldn't take it. I think [51:29] that's a part of this and that's so sad. [51:32] >> I wonder that too. And you know the the [51:34] move to Miami is also one that the [51:37] family has spoken about and kind of [51:38] alluded to the fact that the minute he [51:40] landed it was a horrible mistake. He [51:42] went there to be closer to family, but [51:44] things were kind of going really well in [51:45] Vegas. So, like why he made this abrupt [51:48] move. But I do think you're right. I [51:50] think someone like Perez loves the fame, [51:53] loves the attention, and he's said that [51:55] about himself. And so, you wonder if [51:57] that has come into play here. And yeah, [52:00] I think your dad had the best advice, [52:01] right? Everyone's career, it's so highs [52:03] and lows. And I think that's where [52:04] coming back full circle to our [52:06] conversation, having a family, and he [52:07] does have kids, but I don't know, that's [52:09] not always fulfilling for everyone, but [52:10] to me, I'm like, "Okay, great. If I had [52:12] no podcast and any attention went away [52:14] tomorrow, I'd be completely fine." Like, [52:16] I'm like, "Terrific. I'm ready to move [52:17] to like a home in the in the woods in [52:19] Maine and then we'll be [52:21] >> and not make sourdough." [52:25] Exactly. So, I think we're still going [52:26] to get a lot out of Perez, but I I don't [52:28] know. Just my gut is like I don't know [52:30] if he'll be back. I feel the same about [52:31] Wendy Williams. I'm not sure. [52:33] >> Oh god, that one makes me so sad, Sarah, [52:36] because she actually was really nice to [52:38] me. I really liked Wendy Williams. I had [52:41] many good times on her show and she came [52:43] on the view when I was still hosting and [52:45] um I remember it was after it came out [52:47] about her husband cheating on her and [52:48] having a baby with another woman. And um [52:51] I asked her a question. I will never [52:52] forget this. I said, "Are you still [52:54] going to be as like hard-hitting and [52:56] tough and take no prisoners when you [52:58] interview people?" And she paused and I [53:01] said, "Because I hope you do. I don't [53:03] want a soften Wendy Williams. I like [53:06] that you will say, you know, denial is a [53:08] river in Egypt, her husband's gay." Like [53:10] I loved like I think there's And also [53:12] her like clap if you're whatever. Like [53:14] like there's so many things I don't [53:16] think Wendy Williams gets and I'm not I [53:18] am going to say this. I think it's [53:19] because she's like a black woman. I [53:20] think it's because she started in urban [53:22] radio. Like I think there's a lot of [53:23] elements we do not give that woman the [53:25] props to sit in front of a camera and [53:27] talk and entertain the way she did is a [53:30] certain gift. I don't have it. I need [53:32] guests. I need to I need to riff with [53:34] you. I hate monologuing. I think it's [53:36] boring. And I just it is Wendy Williams [53:39] makes me so sad. And the documentary [53:41] made me so sad. That Lifetime [53:42] documentary where she's like seen [53:43] without a wig and whatever. Like just I [53:46] hate this for her. I hate it. [53:49] >> No, I'm with you. And I [53:50] >> You worked in radio. Did you ever meet [53:51] her? Sorry to interrupt you. [53:53] >> No, I never did. Oh God, interrupt away. [53:54] No, but I mean, she was like such a [53:56] legend and I'm sure you remember this, [53:57] but I would even drive to New York City [53:59] and like when she would did afternoons, [54:01] I mean, I had to listen. It was so good. [54:04] No, she's she's one of those to me, [54:05] she's up there with my Joan Rivers, you [54:07] know, they're just you cannot beat them. [54:09] I think though that her husband was such [54:12] a dirt bag, but I in my opinion uh I [54:15] think [54:15] >> Oh, yeah. Horrible, [54:16] >> horrible person. I think she was so in [54:19] love with him. And also, you talk about [54:20] a struggle to have a baby. I mean, my [54:22] god, she had so many miscarriages before [54:24] she conceived her son. And I think that [54:27] husband did such a number on her. And [54:30] then, of course, you know, her addiction [54:31] came back at the end. You know, she was [54:33] drinking again. And that was no secret. [54:35] And look, she's she's one I agree with [54:38] you. There there's there once in a [54:40] lifetime there are people like like [54:42] Wendy, [54:43] >> like Joan, and she is so missed on the [54:46] airways. I just don't see I don't think [54:48] Wendy's coming back. [54:50] >> I also just think it's so sad she's like [54:51] in a conservatorship and she like comes [54:54] to the window of the facility she's at [54:56] and you see her and she's so it's like [54:58] you know even when she says like you [55:00] know there's like those memes that go [55:01] around it's like clap if you ever want [55:03] to kill anybody like it's like she just [55:04] has these things that are just [55:06] omnipresent in the culture and I I hate [55:08] it Sarah. It makes me [55:11] >> She's one of the greatest I think you're [55:12] right. She doesn't get her props. [55:13] There's two documentaries coming out [55:15] about her. We'll see if those do some [55:17] justice and help her path to getting out [55:21] of that conservatorship, but we'll see. [55:23] >> She also for a period of time I can [55:25] remember um there were political people [55:28] that started going on her show like I [55:29] think Mike Huckabe went on and I [55:30] remember being like they are smart. [55:32] They're going to like it is a smart [55:34] thing to do to be like utilizing her and [55:36] her audience because I actually did find [55:37] her and her team fair because I thought [55:39] she was like a curious like a curious [55:41] interviewer. She didn't have malfeasants [55:43] when she interviewed you which is also [55:44] rare. Um, my last final topic for you, [55:48] Harry and Megan. I can never get enough [55:50] of Harry and Megan. I like one of my [55:52] girlfriends is from she's from here, but [55:54] she lives in the UK. And I feel like our [55:56] texts were just like we hate Megan [55:57] Markle chain. Like sometimes like we [55:59] just like keep going back and forth. I [56:01] think they're such absurd, ridiculous [56:03] people. It came out um that Harry and [56:05] Megan have only been back in the UK for [56:07] a few weeks, but they switched schools. [56:10] Archie and Lily were moved out of their [56:11] new school after just two days because [56:13] the family security team reported that [56:16] the commute wasn't operationally secure. [56:19] Uh I don't know what that means. Uh new [56:21] reports also say that Prince William has [56:23] is like absolutely no way we are not [56:25] rebuilding a relationship and my kids [56:27] aren't going to hang out with your kids. [56:28] My future king's son isn't going to hang [56:30] out with the American ch royals. Like [56:33] it's so messy. Um so messy. [56:35] >> What Oh, you showed the picture. Thank [56:36] you so much. Uh what do you think? What [56:39] do you think of this? Two days in a [56:40] school and ripping your kids out. It's [56:41] pretty traumatizing. I mean, I assume [56:43] your son's he mean he's he's five, you [56:45] said. Like, I assume he's in preschool [56:46] or kindergarten. And you know, they got [56:49] to settle in. That's very traumatizing [56:50] for children. [56:51] >> They are. And you know what? [56:52] Unfortunately, this is the only thing I [56:54] might disagree with you on. I'm not [56:55] going to be on your Megan um hate chain. [56:57] I [56:58] >> I don't mind her. I don't mind her. [57:00] However, [57:01] >> my gosh, that's a hot take. Tell me why. [57:04] >> You're like the last one left. You know, [57:06] >> even Stacey Schroeder, who was like, who [57:08] was the biggest Megan person ever, was [57:10] like, I'm unfollowing her on on socials. [57:13] Remember that? She was like, I've had [57:15] enough. [57:15] >> Maybe it's because I pivoted so many [57:17] times in my career, but I really [57:19] appreciate a a scattered businesswoman. [57:22] And she's [57:23] like, she got that damn jelly. She got a [57:26] show. She tried to run like and I'm [57:29] like, when I started this podcast a [57:30] decade ago, girl, I did everything. I [57:32] tried to be you. I was like political [57:35] out there. I think I went to a mosque [57:37] and broadcast. I was like trying to do [57:39] everything right and ain't nothing [57:40] hidden until I started talking about TLC [57:42] shows. So I appreciate a woman that is [57:45] lost in her business. I liked that [57:48] >> I love like I love the royal family. And [57:51] so I was like I love that they're over [57:52] here in America. I I actually don't mind [57:56] her. Now, what I will say, and I think [57:58] I'm going to start covering them more, [57:59] is this move back to England, I don't [58:01] know, is good for her, and I feel like [58:02] maybe I'm going to have to help her if [58:04] they get divorced. I mean, is this is [58:06] this a last ditch effort to save their [58:08] marriage? You know, they put on a good [58:10] front. They all put on a good front, but [58:12] why are they back? Why are they back? [58:15] >> Must be money. [58:16] >> But Prince Charles has come out and said [58:18] he's not going to give them. Now, again, [58:19] I think this is all like I think they're [58:21] going to ease their way in. And if [58:22] they're there for two years, three [58:23] years, we're going to see a big turn. I [58:25] also wonder if maybe Prince Charles's [58:27] health is not as great as what we think. [58:29] But there's now I'm I'm actually curious [58:31] about them now. Like what is why are [58:33] they back? She hated England. Hated. [58:36] >> Yes. It was racist and awful to her. [58:39] Yeah. And she hated it. [58:40] >> Well, hello. You've traveled the world, [58:42] you know. Okay. I know America. [58:44] Everyone's like, "There's racism here." [58:45] Of course there is. But go abroad. [58:47] >> Go to France. No. My sister [58:51] black people in Spain. [58:52] >> My sister Bridget is not white. She's [58:54] adopted and she does a she has dark skin [58:56] and uh she has gnarly experiences in [58:59] Paris. gnarly. She was telling me about [59:02] she's like, "Fuck France." Like, "I'm [59:04] never going back." Like she I mean, and [59:06] I'm not going to speak. I mean, I did [59:07] tell a story. She doesn't mind me [59:08] sharing that, but like I'm always like, [59:10] "How was Bridget's experience in this [59:12] country?" And she has some places that [59:13] she's like, "I'm not f" and you know, [59:16] America, she lives her best life here [59:18] every day like [59:19] >> Okay. Yes. And political [59:22] a lot more uh racist than we are. No [59:24] offense to my English. I love my [59:25] English. I love my Irish. [59:27] So, it's like I now am actually really [59:30] curious. I'm really curious about what [59:32] where they go next. And and look, I [59:35] think he really loves her, too, because [59:37] I don't think the only part I ever found [59:39] super cringe about her was when they did [59:41] that first Netflix show and she sort of [59:42] mocked the queen with I really hated [59:46] that. I was like, that's so cringe. [59:48] Like, you've got to pay respect to this [59:49] woman even if you dislike the monarchy. [59:51] Like, but that's why I feel like he [59:54] really loves her. So, I'm rooting for [59:56] them. But now I'm hearing like maybe [59:58] this the marriage isn't so solid and [60:01] where do they go from here, Megan? I [60:03] don't know. [60:03] >> Well, let me tell you something, Sarah. [60:05] You You need to cover it on your show. [60:07] That's diluted with that advice. I would [60:09] like to hear it. And I actually love [60:11] that you're softer on her because that's [60:12] very unusual. Most people are like me [60:14] that are like, "She's the worst." [60:16] >> Every time she comes out with a new [60:17] business venture, I'm like, "Girl, I've [60:18] been there. I don't know how many things [60:19] we trademarked and I ain't done [ __ ] [60:21] with them." So, I'm like, "I got you, [60:23] Megan." [60:25] >> Yeah. Yeah, I I mean that's, you know, [60:27] whatever. But I I like I said, I really [60:29] uh uh I want I want to hear your more [60:32] takes on this. Um Sarah, I just want to [60:33] thank you so much. Uh I went a little [60:35] long with my last guest. I could go [60:36] longer with you except we have another [60:38] post tape. Um but I just want to thank [60:40] you so much. You can follow Sarah uh [60:43] Sarah Fraser Show on all social media [60:44] platforms. You don't need my help. Your [60:46] podcast is huge. Um but I appreciate you [60:48] slumbing it on mine. And when you come [60:50] back more, please. So fun. [60:52] >> Please, anytime. I would love it. I [60:54] adore you to your baby. [60:56] >> And we have to do a play date. We have [60:58] to do a play date with my baby. Are your [60:59] babies. [61:00] >> I'm coming to Yes. Cannot wait. [61:04] >> All right.
