Transcript [01:11] Hey folks, Eric Stackle here. Welcome to [01:13] the Watchman newscast live stream. I [01:14] figured I'd come to you one more time [01:16] before we head into the weekend. And in [01:17] the Middle East, I mean, who knows what [01:19] happens, right? The Middle East uh on a [01:21] weekend is often very volatile to say [01:24] the least. But in the meantime, just in [01:26] case, coming to you on your Friday and [01:28] looking forward to the weekend, of [01:30] course. Been a busy news week in the [01:33] world's most chaotic and volatile [01:34] region, the Middle East. So, we want to [01:36] unpack a bit what's happening as we head [01:38] into the weekend and and really as we [01:40] head into the midterms here in the [01:42] United States, November 3rd, as we head [01:45] into the Israeli election season, I [01:47] believe it's October 27th. We'll find [01:50] out if Prime Minister Netanyahu is going [01:52] to stay in office, if his Likood party [01:54] will prevail. That's coming up. We're in [01:56] the midst of the high holidays, of [01:57] course. We just passed Rosh Shashana [01:59] about to head into Yong Kipur. Sukkot, [02:01] the feast of tabernacles is on the [02:03] horizon. the third anniversary of [02:06] October 7th, the massacre also on the [02:08] horizon in a few weeks. And we just [02:10] passed the 25th anniversary of 911. Wow. [02:14] So, a very busy fall 2026 with a lot of [02:18] significant dates. And folks, I don't [02:21] overstate this. I believe busy dates and [02:24] busy happenings that will have a [02:27] profound impact on the world. You might [02:30] say, "Well, wait a minute. No, no, no. [02:32] the US midterm elections. Number one, [02:35] whoever prevails in those midterms, if [02:37] the left, god forbid, seizes the House, [02:41] Senate, or double, god forbid, both, [02:43] which I think is very unlikely, [02:46] then it's going to be a slog for [02:49] President Trump perhaps in his final two [02:51] years in office as a Democrat-led House. [02:55] Starts with the impeachment nonsense [02:57] again. And you get the picture. You [02:59] remember those dark days, right? That's [03:02] number one. So that has an impact. You [03:03] might say, well that's only in America. [03:05] No, it has a global impact because of [03:08] Iran in particular. Does that handcuff [03:10] the president in a sense in dealing with [03:12] the Iranian regime? So that's number [03:14] one. And number two, of course, Israel, [03:16] the election there, if BB is out of [03:19] office, what comes next? Gotti Eisenote, [03:22] former IDF general, is seen as the most [03:24] likely successor if Likud is not to [03:27] prevail in those elections. What does [03:29] that mean to me? BB Netanyahu has been [03:33] beyond outstanding [03:35] in conducting the war against the [03:37] Iranian axis [03:39] and nothing is guaranteed post BB when [03:44] it comes to Israel and Israel has [03:47] emerged as the superpower in the region [03:50] no doubt number one and number two has [03:53] played a massive part obviously in [03:55] crippling in turning Iran's ring of fire [03:58] into a smoldering heap of ruins [04:02] Look, I'm coming to you what? September [04:04] 18th today, folks. November 4th, I could [04:07] be coming to you with a much different [04:09] message and saying, "Wow, here's the [04:11] deal. [04:12] Democrats prevail. BB's out." But I [04:15] don't think so. I'm not a [04:18] prognosticator. I'm not a pollster. But [04:20] I will tell you this. I mentioned it the [04:21] other day on the live stream. These [04:24] pollsters skew heavily, and I'm being [04:27] kind, heavily left. And we see this [04:31] every election cycle, right? Jog your [04:32] memories. We see this every election [04:34] cycle. They tell you, "Oh man, the [04:37] Democrats are up big. Trump's in big [04:40] trouble." [04:41] That's a few weeks out. Then as it gets [04:44] closer to the actual election, five [04:46] weeks out, they're saying, "Oh, [04:47] Democrats are up 12 points. Trump [04:49] doesn't have a shot. The Republicans are [04:50] toast." [04:52] Then you get to like two weeks out, a [04:54] week and a half out, they say, "Well, [04:56] it's closed a bit. It's only about four [04:58] points now." And they do that to cover [05:00] their butts [05:02] because if they're predicting a 20 point [05:04] blowout and the Republicans win, they [05:06] really look bad. They hedge a bit and [05:08] say, "Well, you know, let's close the [05:10] gap a little bit in the waning days to [05:12] to preserve what any shred of [05:14] credibility that still exists for us." [05:17] And you might say, "Well, why would they [05:19] even do that in the first place? Why [05:20] would they say Democrats are up 20 when [05:23] they're not? It's real simple. They want [05:26] to suppress turnout. It's funny because [05:28] the left talks about suppressing voter [05:30] turnout, right? They want people to get [05:33] so discouraged that they say, "Oh my [05:36] gosh, the Republicans have no shot. [05:39] They're down 20. You know, it's an [05:41] off-year election. Midterms. Rarely does [05:43] the ruling party prevail in the [05:46] midterms. I'm not even going to bother [05:48] going out to vote." That's what they [05:50] want to do and they succeed in many [05:52] cases. If they told you the truth and [05:54] said it's neck and neck and your vote's [05:56] going to matter, you conservative out [05:58] there, then people like shoot, I'm all [06:00] in. I'm going to go make a difference [06:01] here. I'm going to vote. [06:03] But they intentionally depress people in [06:06] order to depress turnout and suppress [06:09] turnout. [06:11] Again, I'm telling you folks, we see it [06:12] time and time again, again and again on [06:14] a loop every election season. And that's [06:16] why I'm talking to conservative friends [06:18] who and I see them on X as well and [06:20] people I know well who are prominent [06:22] voices. Man, they're doom and gloom. And [06:25] I'm saying, guys, have faith. [06:29] My gosh, have some faith. [06:32] Let's see. And you know what? No matter [06:35] what happens, guess what? God's on the [06:37] throne through every election. No matter [06:39] who prevails, God almighty is on the [06:41] throne. Have a little faith. Have little [06:43] optimism. The numbers are incredible. [06:45] The poverty rate is at historic lows. We [06:48] just learned yesterday unemployment [06:50] rates at historic lows. The murder rate [06:52] in America at historic lows. I mean, I [06:53] could go on with the list of [06:54] accomplishments under Trump over the [06:56] past not even two years. Have little [06:58] faith, but we shall see. Again, I'm not [07:01] a pro prognosticator, but I obviously [07:03] live and breathe this stuff. I follow it [07:05] very closely. I can tell you this [07:06] administration has made tremendous [07:08] accomplishments and that includes with [07:10] Iran, which we're going to talk about a [07:12] bit right now because President Trump [07:14] commented on this yesterday. Said to the [07:16] media, look, I have and you got to give [07:20] give the guy credit. I mean, Joe Biden [07:22] literally hid rarely did media, rarely [07:26] did a white White House press briefing. [07:28] The guy was invisible for four years [07:30] essentially. Trump's out there every day [07:34] on the fly. He'll talk to anyone at any [07:37] time on the tarmac, on the plane, here, [07:40] there. He does not shy away. And even if [07:44] you don't like President Trump, if I [07:45] have any leftist Democrats watching, [07:49] you got to if you're a conservative who [07:50] doesn't like President Trump, he's not [07:52] your cup of tea. At least acknowledge [07:53] that the guy never ever ever turns down [07:58] an interview. He'll talk if you're a [08:00] leftist, he'll he'll talk to you. He'll [08:02] go to to he doesn't mince words. He'll [08:04] give you an answer. The guy's not [08:06] afraid. [08:08] And you may not like him, but you got to [08:11] respect that. I mean, come on. I happen [08:13] to like the guy a whole lot and I [08:15] respect the heck out of him. And he'll [08:18] he'll talk to anybody. He'll go into the [08:20] lion's den and he's proven that time and [08:22] time again. Can't say the same for those [08:24] on the left. That that's another story. [08:26] But he's unique for sure. and he's gone [08:28] into the lion's den in terms of being [08:30] the first president in US history to [08:34] take on the Iranian regime in nearly [08:36] half a century. His seven predecessors [08:38] all took a pass. [08:40] Trump knew, and this is why I give him [08:42] so much credit. Trump knew, and I talked [08:45] to Victor Davis Hansen about this, the [08:46] great Victor Davis Hansen the other day [08:48] on my show Stacklebeck Tonight on TBN. [08:50] That interview is coming up soon and we [08:52] will post it here on the YouTube [08:53] channel. And by the way, as you're [08:56] watching, remember to subscribe and [08:58] click the notification bell so you get [08:59] alerts every time a new video is posted. [09:03] We've got over 1.1 million subscribers. [09:05] It goes without saying, for such a time [09:08] as this. We'd love you to join us here [09:09] every day as watchmen and women on the [09:12] wall, shouldertosh shoulder in these [09:14] perilous but prophetic times that we're [09:17] living in right now. But VDH, the great [09:19] Victor Davis Hansen, he made the point, [09:22] and I've said it many times here in the [09:24] newscast, [09:25] if Trump was a typical politician, and [09:27] again, love him, hate him, you might not [09:29] like him, whatever, but acknowledge [09:31] this. If Trump was a typical politician, [09:35] there's no way he would have touched [09:36] Iran [09:38] 8 months before a midterm election. [09:40] Remember, this thing kicked off February [09:42] 2028, about eight months before the [09:44] upcoming midterms or February 2026, I'm [09:46] sorry. [09:48] A safe politician would have said, "Oh, [09:52] not touching Iran. We don't need any [09:56] combustible market ups and downs and [10:00] pricing fluctuations in advance of the [10:03] midterms. I'll take it back. Even June [10:05] 2025, a cautious, careful, finger to the [10:09] wind type politician would have done [10:10] nothing [10:13] and certainly would have wrapped it up [10:15] by now. [10:17] I mean, I think we'd all like to see it [10:18] wrapped up by now, right? But if Trump [10:21] was a typical politician who was only [10:22] cared about his poll numbers and winning [10:24] the midterms in November, he would have [10:26] found a way to wrap it up. Let's face [10:28] it, even if it was a bad deal for the [10:30] US, he would have wrapped it up in like [10:31] May and found a way to cease [10:34] hostilities. [10:36] But he didn't. Why? [10:40] Because he knows he's doing the right [10:41] thing. He knew it was going to be messy [10:44] and sloppy. It's the world's number one [10:46] state sponsor of terrorism. It's a [10:47] country of 93 million people is Iran. [10:51] It's a wicked demonic Nazi jihadist [10:54] death cult that was armed to the teeth [10:57] with ballistic missiles and drones and [10:58] was building a bomb, nuclear weapons. [11:02] Trump knew it wasn't going to be a day [11:03] in the park. He knew it wasn't going to [11:05] be Venezuela part two, [11:08] which we saw the capture of Maduro back [11:10] in January. He knew that. But he went in [11:13] anyway. [11:15] Didn't physically go into Iran, but I [11:17] should say went in and alongside Israel [11:19] carried out strikes and Solo as well. [11:21] Why? [11:23] He had everything to lose. Everything to [11:26] lose. But he did it anyway. [11:29] That's leadership. He did the right [11:32] thing [11:33] and said, "You know what? Let the [11:35] midterms be what the midterms will be. I [11:38] want to prevail. We need to prevail. I [11:40] know that. [11:42] But I cannot let a jihadist apocalyptic [11:44] death cult acquire nuclear weapons. [11:46] Sorry. Polls be damned. I'm going to do [11:49] what's right regardless of the political [11:52] fallout. Again, that's leadership. And [11:54] it's very rare in this day and age. He [11:57] did what he felt was right. He knew oil [12:00] and gas would go up. He knew there'd be [12:02] complaining and grumbling in advance of [12:04] the midterm. He knew it. and he did it [12:06] anyway because he knew the alternative [12:09] was, okay, we appease Iran, we don't [12:13] act, and then a week before the [12:16] midterms, Iran announces, "We've just [12:19] tested a nuclear device. We are now a [12:22] member of the nuclear club [12:24] or Iran uses a nuclear device." Folks, [12:27] it was that close. [12:31] But Trump could have said, "Well, [12:33] they tested a nuclear device, but it's [12:35] not in our backyard. It's in the Middle [12:37] East." [12:38] Although you and I both know that [12:40] they're also working, I hope you know, [12:41] I've shared it many times here in the [12:43] channel, that the Iranian regime is also [12:45] working on intercontinental ballistic [12:46] missiles, ICBMs, [12:49] that could reach the United States. [12:51] They're designed to travel across [12:53] continents, across oceans. And you build [12:55] ICBMs for one reason and one reason [12:57] only, to mount them with a nuclear [12:59] warhead. Those ICBMs are not for Israel. [13:04] They're not for Saudi Arabia. Countries [13:06] in the region. Iran has shown over the [13:09] past 8 months they already have short [13:11] and mid-range missiles to reach those [13:13] nations. [13:15] The ICBMs aren't even for Britain, [13:18] Germany, and France. Although Iran has [13:20] also shown they have the capability to [13:21] reach those nations with missiles. No, [13:24] those ICBMs are designed to travel [13:26] across continents, across oceans. Those [13:29] ICBMs [13:31] are for the great Satan in the Iranian [13:34] regime's view, the United States. [13:38] So, God bless Donald Trump for doing [13:40] what needed to be done and what others [13:42] before him should have done. Instead, [13:44] they kicked the can down the road. Trump [13:47] said, "No, I'm not kicking the can down [13:50] the road to my successor. I'm going to [13:52] handle this because guess what? My [13:55] legacy, if you're Trump, he's saying my [13:58] legacy is not going to be Iran went [14:01] nuclear on Trump's watch. No way. And [14:04] Iran incinerated a million people with a [14:06] nuclear device in some country, perhaps [14:08] even this country where I'm sitting [14:09] right now, the United States. No. [14:13] So, God bless him for doing the right [14:15] thing. And I hope he's rewarded in the [14:17] midterms. The war hasn't maybe gone as [14:20] many expected in terms of length, in [14:23] terms of results. [14:25] It's hard to argue. I mean, Iran's [14:28] military is decimated. No one can argue [14:30] that that their navy and their air force [14:33] have been smashed. Their nuclear program [14:35] lies in ruins. Yes, there's pickaxe [14:37] mountain still, but that may be next on [14:40] the list in the notsodistant future. [14:44] Their leadership, Supreme Leader Comm, [14:47] military leadership killed. [14:51] There's not much. There's still missiles [14:52] and drones. [14:54] And that's about it. There's ballistic [14:57] missiles and drones and those stock [14:58] piles have also been depleted thanks to [15:00] US and Israeli strikes. [15:03] The economy inflation's I think at 90% [15:06] last I checked. The people are getting [15:09] restless once again even though 50,000 [15:11] of them were slaughtered earlier this [15:12] year. This is a regime on the brink of [15:15] collapse. [15:17] They may yet hang on a shell. They may [15:20] yet hang on. I hope they don't. They [15:22] may. It's possible they could. The the [15:25] the [15:26] husk of the Iranian regime hangs on a [15:29] few more years. It's possible. [15:30] Prophetically, many think that's [15:32] probable when they look at Ezekiel and [15:34] the war of Gog and Magog. Ezekiel 38:39. [15:37] Persia is named in that invasion force [15:39] that comes against Israel in the latter [15:41] days. Ezekiel's words. [15:45] But man oh man, Trump and BB certainly [15:48] have done everything to put the Iranian [15:49] people in position [15:52] to seize their destiny and overthrow [15:53] this regime. Yes, the Iranian people [15:55] need arms. [15:57] Is there a way I asked this last week, I [15:59] believe, and I said, "Any former [16:01] military folks out there? What's the [16:03] best way to arm the Iranian people? Is [16:06] it possible? Is it the CIA comes in [16:08] there? I know there are rumblings of [16:10] arming the Kurds. That didn't [16:11] materialize. And Trump doesn't seem [16:13] happy with the Kurds right now. [16:15] There's got to be a way to assist the [16:17] Iranian people. We shall see. But I say [16:21] all this to say Trump yesterday said, [16:23] "I've got a decision to make." And I got [16:25] off on a tangent. Apologies. You see the [16:28] title, the thumbnail of this live stream [16:29] today. Trump said, "Look, I've got a [16:31] decision to make and I got to make it [16:34] fast. And it's going to come maybe [16:36] before the midterms," he said. Maybe [16:38] after the midterms, [16:39] but am I going to annihilate the regime? [16:42] He said. [16:43] Now, this has been like Groundhog Day in [16:45] a sense. You've heard me folks here all [16:48] along. This thing launched February [16:50] 28th. [16:52] I think hostilities ceased April 7th, [16:55] right? So, over 50 days of the US and [16:59] Israel just battering the regime. [17:03] I don't think the president should have [17:04] stopped. I think he should have finished [17:06] the job. US SenCom said and Israeli [17:09] intelligence, they both said, "Look, two [17:12] more weeks we'll have accomplished all [17:14] of our goals militarily." [17:17] President stopped short [17:20] and said, "Let's see if we can cut a [17:22] deal." Probably thinking of the [17:24] midterms. And this was back in early [17:25] April. [17:27] And he tried and tried. Look, he's the [17:29] dealmaker. And I think he's got takes a [17:31] lot of pride in that that he's the [17:32] ultimate dealmaker. No one else has been [17:34] able to do it, but I'm going to be able [17:35] to do it. [17:38] You're dealing though [17:40] with a death cult [17:43] that welcomes death, that thinks they'll [17:46] be in heaven with Allah and 72 virgins, [17:49] and that also thinks, and this is a key [17:51] point, that in a time of great global [17:54] chaos, in particular in the Middle East, [17:58] that will usher in the return of the [18:00] Islamic Messiah. His name is the Mahi or [18:04] the 12th Imm. I know it sounds crazy, [18:07] but they really believe this and they're [18:08] shaping their policy around it. They're [18:10] shaping negotiations around this with [18:11] the United States. In a time of great [18:14] global chaos, their Messiah, the Mahi, [18:17] he'll return. He'll reemerge. He'll lead [18:20] the armies of Islam to victory over all [18:22] of the Christians and the Jews [18:26] with Iran as the tip of the spear in his [18:28] armies. And Jesus will be his wingman. [18:32] He'll be accompanied by Jesus. [18:35] So Jesus, a Jewish rabbi, [18:39] will assist in slaughtering his fellow [18:41] Jews and all the followers of Jesus, the [18:44] Christians. I told you it's crazy. But [18:47] it doesn't matter what I think. They [18:49] believe it and they're acting on it. And [18:53] that's one reason they will not agree to [18:55] any kind of credible deal with the Trump [18:57] administration. And I think the [18:58] president sees that now. I think he's [19:00] thrown his hands up in a sense and said, [19:01] "Okay, think a few weeks ago." He said, [19:05] "Now, you know, midterms are coming. I I [19:08] do need to consider that. Not because [19:10] I'm a politician or a typical [19:11] politician, but because if we lose the [19:14] House or the Senate, it makes my life [19:16] more difficult in terms of getting my [19:18] agenda through. He's accomplished so [19:21] much these first two years, not even two [19:23] years, but there's much more to be done [19:26] in the final two years of his term. and [19:29] he doesn't want obstruction for those [19:30] two years. So, he knows he's got to get [19:32] serious about the midterms. So, what he [19:34] seems to have done is said, "Look, [19:38] let's just squeeze the economic vise [19:42] around their necks." And he's done it to [19:44] great success. I've reported here in the [19:45] newscast, straight of hormuz was a [19:48] massive issue. Not so much anymore. [19:50] Trump administration was able to create [19:53] or the US military under President [19:54] Trump's watch was able to create an [19:57] alternate waterway off the coast of Oman [20:00] where shipping is taking oil and gas [20:02] through this alternate waterway and [20:05] bypassing Iran's goons [20:08] and we're almost at pre-war levels [20:11] with the flow coming out of the straight [20:13] of Hormuse. [20:14] Now, [20:16] of course, oil and gas prices would be [20:19] affected by a war in the Middle East [20:21] where a strategic waterway, the Straight [20:23] of Hormuz, is involved, and they're [20:26] higher, no doubt. And it ain't pleasant. [20:30] But folks, it could be astronomically [20:32] higher. It's actually lower than people [20:34] expected. Look, I know no rise in oil [20:37] and gas is good. We all feel it. But if [20:39] the price of that, for me, speaking [20:41] personally, if the price for paying 5 10 [20:44] bucks extra when I fill up is preventing [20:47] the world's number one state sponsor of [20:49] terrorism, a jihadist death cult with [20:50] American blood on its hands from getting [20:52] a nuclear weapon, I'll pay the extra 10 [20:55] bucks. [20:57] That's my view. Maybe not everyone [20:59] agrees. [21:01] That used to be the American people's [21:03] view. when we're more united as a [21:04] people. When I was growing up, say the ' [21:08] 80s, '90s, [21:11] not it's so divided now. The left is the [21:15] left is what the left is. Communists, [21:17] socialist, Islamists, it's unraveled [21:20] into something that Truman, JFK, and [21:23] FDR, needless to say, would not [21:25] recognize. [21:28] But Trump is saying, "Okay, [21:32] we've got energy flowing through the [21:34] straight of Hormuz. That was our only [21:36] card essentially, the Iranian regimes. [21:38] Now we're take we're taking that away. [21:41] Let's just squeeze them economically, [21:42] ramp up the sanctions, and perhaps the [21:46] regime will just collapse from within, [21:48] which is the goal all along in terms of [21:50] regime change. Let the Iranian people do [21:52] it. Perhaps it will just implode. [21:56] That's a good bet. [21:58] There's the other side to it, though. I [22:00] don't know if there's a middle ground [22:02] here, by the way, folks. Maybe there is. [22:03] The husk, like I said earlier, the husk [22:06] of the regime lives on for a few years [22:08] before ultimately collapsing. [22:11] That would be the plausible in between. [22:13] The other two options are it implodes [22:16] faster, please, God willing, or it [22:19] lashes out. And I mentioned this the [22:21] other day uh on the live stream. And [22:23] again, if you miss any of our newscast, [22:24] our live streams, be sure to just [22:26] subscribe, of course. But they're all [22:28] there in our archives, under videos, [22:30] under newscast, just click. It's all [22:32] right there. You can watch it. But I [22:34] mentioned that many times when the [22:35] regime has its back against the wall, it [22:37] escalates. It lashes out. And that's why [22:39] many of us have warned about Iran and an [22:42] October surprise. the dreaded October [22:45] surprise. Right before the midterms, [22:47] they try something, something big, and [22:50] the country says, "Oh my gosh, oil and [22:52] gas prices escalate even higher." And [22:54] everyone gets worried. [22:57] The Trump administration knows that Iran [22:59] is certainly plotting something like [23:01] this, an October surprise on the home [23:04] front. God forbid. God forbid. You know, [23:07] I just interviewed the Secretary of [23:10] Homeland Security, Mark Wayne Mullen, [23:12] exclusive interview just last week at [23:13] the Republican Midterm Convention in [23:15] Dallas, and he said it's the threats are [23:18] always metastasizing, always changing. [23:21] Iran's tried to assassinate President [23:23] Trump at least twice. They've threatened [23:25] Ivanka Trump. They've threatened Baron [23:27] Trump. We've talked about this here in [23:28] the newscast. [23:31] So the administration certainly is on [23:33] its toes in terms of threats from Iran [23:36] as the midterms approach. [23:38] They clearly they want Trump to lo if [23:40] the Republicans lose the House or the [23:42] Senate, [23:44] then it's a loss for Trump. Obviously, [23:45] it makes his agenda particularly [23:47] regarding Iran, tougher to push through. [23:50] So Iran wants to hurt him in any way. [23:53] There's a terror attack, God forbid, or [23:55] or something overseas [23:57] in the Middle East, US troops attacked, [23:59] something Iran launches at Israel, [24:02] something. And these are horrific, [24:04] please God, no scenarios. [24:07] But we have to be realistic and talk [24:09] about it and consider it and analyze it. [24:13] If this happens, Iran says it's going to [24:16] hurt Trump. [24:18] That's their calculus. [24:20] We shall see, folks. Every day now, [24:23] right? It's I know there's fatigue with [24:25] the Iran war. There's certainly fatigue [24:28] with Ukraine. I was just in Ukraine a [24:29] few weeks ago, and I know the average [24:31] American doesn't want to hear about it, [24:32] but that's heating up as well. [24:35] I was on, we talk about tyrants who are [24:38] in trouble, escalating, and lashing out. [24:40] Iran, certainly Putin as well. He's lost [24:42] half a million troops. Half a million. [24:44] Imagine that. young men in four and a [24:47] half years after he chose to invade [24:50] Ukraine. He didn't have to do it. He [24:52] chose to do it. And now he's targeting [24:54] trains near the Ukraine Poland border [24:57] that were carrying European diplomats. I [24:59] was on one of those very trains just 3 [25:01] weeks ago. I'm thanking God every day [25:03] for his hedge of protection upon me on [25:05] that Ukraine trip. And what a trip it [25:07] was. I love Kev. The history, the [25:09] architecture, the people. Had a great [25:12] interview with President Zilinski and [25:13] and others there. children who've been [25:15] kidnapped by the Putin regime. Tens of [25:17] thousands. [25:19] Terrible things happening. [25:22] But it's a time of real calamity and [25:24] people are fatigued by it. I know. But [25:28] you can kind of give in. You know, the [25:30] book of Revelation talks about [25:32] everyone's crying out for peace and [25:34] safety. We're so fatigued. We just want [25:36] peace and safety. [25:38] And then everything comes upon them like [25:40] a flood. The Bible says, "God forbid." [25:45] I mean, we need to be resilient. It [25:48] stinks. It's not fun. But we need to be [25:52] resilient in the face of evil. You need [25:54] to fight for freedom for what's good and [25:56] true. Faith, family, freedom. Every [25:58] single day, we have to fight to preserve [26:00] it. I wish it wasn't so, but it is. And [26:04] if we give in and give up, our freedoms [26:06] slip away. [26:08] Hey, last thing before I go and you guys [26:10] head into the weekend. Oops, my [26:11] flashlight's on here. Apologies. [26:14] Um, [26:16] this deal with the Saudis, the F-35s, [26:21] I don't like it. And the reason I don't [26:24] like it is not because I think MBS and [26:27] the current Saudi government are going [26:28] to use them to attack Israel or attack [26:31] the United States. [26:33] My concern is this, [26:35] that NBS [26:38] and the Saudi government right now are [26:40] on shaky ground. My concern is who comes [26:44] after them. [26:47] We've been reporting here. The Houthis [26:49] roared up and down the Red Sea coastline [26:51] over the last two weeks in Yemen [26:52] neighboring Saudi Arabia. They seized [26:55] the Baband Strait. They're attacking [26:57] Saudi Arabia. They even fired at Mecca, [26:59] the holiest site in Islam. [27:03] It doesn't seem like the Saudis have [27:04] much of an answer here, and they really [27:06] haven't since 2014 when the Houthis [27:08] first started stirring things up. NBS is [27:12] pleading with Trump, come and help me. [27:15] I say all that to say, [27:17] this doesn't seem like [27:20] a supremely stable regime or government, [27:23] right? [27:26] So, I worry about supplying such a shaky [27:30] government, which hasn't always been the [27:32] greatest ally in recent years. Let's go [27:35] back to 9/11. But in more recent years, [27:38] they've been obstructionist in a sense [27:40] with Iran. [27:42] Oh, ju just come to a ceasefire. They're [27:44] telling Trump because Iran keeps hitting [27:46] us. I mean, they've got this defense [27:49] pact they just signed with Pakistan and [27:51] Turkey. Where are Pakistan and Turkey [27:54] right now, by the way? as the Houthis [27:55] are attacking Saudi Arabia. It [27:59] So, what I'm saying is this. If they're [28:02] showing shakiness, do we really want to [28:04] do this deal and give them F-35s? [28:08] Because those F-35s could fall into the [28:10] wrong hands. Remember what happened to [28:12] Afghanistan 5 years ago? Now, the [28:14] Taliban's strutting around with advanced [28:16] US weaponry. That's my fear about it. [28:20] I don't think NBS is going to turn [28:22] attack Israel. That's [28:24] My fear is, God forbid, if a radical [28:28] jihadi wave sweeps into Saudi Arabia and [28:31] has F-35s all of a sudden. I think [28:34] that's something to think about. [28:36] So, chew on it over the weekend. It's [28:39] great being with you. Everyone, have a [28:40] great weekend. Try to rest up. Try to [28:42] clear your head from this. Spend time [28:43] with the Lord. Get to church. Spend time [28:44] with your family. Enjoy it. Today's [28:47] Shabbat. It's a Sabbath. Enjoy it. It's [28:49] a day of rest from God. Just enjoy it [28:52] because God's on the throne and Jesus is [28:55] in control. And when the waves are [28:58] roaring, the winds crashing and roaring [29:01] against the boat, he's in the boat with [29:03] you. So take heart in knowing that and [29:06] enjoy your weekend. Till next time, God [29:08] bless you and remember, never hold your [29:11] peace. Hey everyone, thanks for checking [29:14] out the Watchman newscast.
