Operation Wings of Dawn, April-May 2026

For more than 2,000 years, the Bnei Menashe community, believed to be descendants of the biblical Tribe of Menashe, preserved Jewish traditions, faith, and a deep connection to the Jewish people in northeastern India. Through Operation Wings of Dawn, in partnership with The Jewish Agency for Israel, Israel’s Ministry of Aliyah and Integration, and with the support of Keren Hayesod, an effort has begun to bring the remaining 6,000 members of the Bnei Menashe community to Israel over the next five years. Nearly 600 olim have already arrived, marking the beginning of a powerful new chapter for these families and for the Jewish people. Today, a dream carried for generations is finally becoming reality.
