Transcript [00:00] Asmongold goes on out on a whim and [00:02] proves that there's no genocide in Gaza. [00:04] Now, I don't agree with everything that [00:06] Asmongold says. Actually, some of the [00:08] takes I've heard him make in the past [00:10] have been fairly [ __ ] But, in this [00:13] clip, he's actually going out and saying [00:15] it just how it is. Uh let's take a look. [00:18] >> This is on the other side of the world. [00:20] Why is so much of like American [00:22] political discourse being derived around [00:25] like which side is right in some Middle [00:28] Eastern blood feud? Like, I don't [00:30] [ __ ] know. I don't care. Like, what [00:32] does it matter? So, we're funding a [00:34] genocide a genocide, [music] right? I [00:36] mean, again, I don't know I don't even [00:38] know if it is a genocide, okay? I'll be [00:40] honest. But, uh I don't want to get into [00:42] that a whole lot, but you look at the [00:44] population in Gaza compare that to the [00:46] Holocaust, it's not even remotely close, [00:48] okay? So, this is again, it's not Yeah. [00:52] Do you want to Yeah, the only one in [00:53] history where the population grows? [00:55] Like, get the [ __ ] out of here. Like, [00:57] losing a war isn't genocide. Losing and [01:00] being killed isn't genocide. Genocide is [01:02] a very specific thing. And if you look [01:04] at the populations that experienced a [01:06] genocide, and then you compare it to [01:08] Gaza, I think that's a massive [ __ ] [01:11] difference. [01:11] >> Yeah. [01:12] >> But, again, I don't really this is not a [01:14] big issue to me, right? But, I do think [01:16] that these people use the word genocide [01:18] so they can establish a moral um like [01:22] basically like [ __ ] Exodia that it [01:24] doesn't matter what you say, they always [01:27] win the moral argument because they get [01:28] to use this word, right? Which I don't [01:31] even think is that accurate. I mean, it [01:32] it if the fact is that like if Israel is [01:35] really as good as they are with bombing, [01:37] like if they were doing a genocide, way [01:38] more people would be dead. Like, let's [01:40] be honest. Like, way more people would [01:41] be dead. So, I feel like that's probably [01:44] not what's happening. But, either way, [01:46] as I said before, I don't want to get [01:48] involved in Middle Eastern [ __ ] sand [01:49] wars. I don't want to have anything to [01:50] do with this, right? [01:52] >> So, [01:53] Yeah, it's the same as the trans [01:54] genocide, right? I mean, like, what the [01:56] [ __ ] are we doing? And uh people try to [01:58] explain 70% billions destroyed equals uh [02:00] 3.5% population death including Hamas as [02:03] genocide? Well, either way, I mean, I [02:05] don't think anybody wants to see the [02:06] bombing happen, but it's pretty obvious [02:08] that, you know, you know, they should [02:10] have never they should have never [02:11] attacked Israelis. They should have [02:12] never done October 7th and uh Gaza [02:15] wouldn't have gotten flattened, right? I [02:16] mean, that's really it. Like if if if if [02:18] if Mexico had gone over into America and [02:21] they had attacked Americans, we would [02:24] have totally leveled whatever city those [02:26] Mexican people were living in. We would [02:27] have leveled the entire thing. China [02:29] would have leveled the entire thing. [02:31] Russia did it and they didn't even get [02:32] attacked with [02:34] a [ __ ] Ukraine. So, no, I'm not too [02:36] interested in that. I don't want to hear [02:38] about this. Hamas is the blame point. [02:40] Yeah, they did it wrong. They should [02:41] have never done it. And that's it. [02:44] And so uh call Pearl Harbor. Yeah, that [02:46] was a bad one, right? And like what do [02:48] we do after Pearl Harbor? We nuke Japan [02:50] twice. And like it's really bad, [02:52] [laughter] right? Holy [ __ ] So, yeah, [02:55] I'm trying to do genocide. We're also [02:57] providing 478,000 tons of food. Yeah. [03:01] Why do you always say moral high ground? [03:02] Who cares about morality? They do. They [03:04] care a lot about morality because they [03:06] want to use that in order to hijack [03:08] people's rational thinking and to claim [03:11] the emotional upper hand and to [03:13] effectively use that as a way that they [03:15] can ram every opinion that they have [03:17] down your throat. They pretend to care [03:18] about it. It's not that they didn't know [03:20] what would happen. They knew it well [03:21] enough and they were doing what the [03:22] response would be. Well, I mean, you [03:24] know, they're getting what they wanted, [03:25] I guess then. [03:26] >> So, okay, a couple things to answer [03:28] Asmongold's points. One, why are you [03:31] interested or why is so much of American [03:33] discourse interested in this conflict? [03:35] The primary reason being that it's [03:37] taking place in Israel, the home base of [03:40] Christianity, Islam, and Judaism, or one [03:42] of the most important places in the [03:44] world for all the three desert [03:45] religions. [03:46] You can't remove it from American [03:47] discourse because Americans do love [03:50] Israel. They love Jesus. Many of them [03:52] love Jesus, love Christianity. And so, [03:54] this being the birthplace of their [03:56] religion, the birthplace [03:58] birthplace of their God, the person they [04:00] consider God, will forever and always [04:02] involve you. You might be an atheist or [04:04] whatever the hell you are. I'm not sure [04:05] what Asmongold is, but that's one of the [04:07] reasons you don't care, but many people [04:09] do care about this conflict. Second, [04:12] as for the genocide terminology, [04:14] I got no problem calling it a genocide. [04:17] Honest to God, I have no problem calling [04:19] it a genocide. The one caveat that I [04:21] have to that is, we have to call [04:23] everything a genocide. [04:25] And then, this genocide is just [04:27] insignificant considering all genocides [04:29] that have happened in the past and or [04:31] happening right now. [04:32] But, nobody's ever willing to do that. [04:34] Like, if you want to call what happened [04:35] in World War II of the US bombing the [04:38] [ __ ] out of Japan with nuclear weapons a [04:40] genocide, it's not a genocide, even [04:43] though so many thousands of people died [04:45] and had injuries after. It was a [04:48] retaliation to war that they were [04:51] engaged in after Japan Imperial Japan [04:53] declared war on the United States in an [04:56] attempt to colonize and take over it as [04:59] it was colonizing and actually [05:01] genociding people in Asia. [05:03] Yeah, that was the attempt. Imperial [05:06] Japan was actually genociding Cambodians [05:08] and Chinese and Filipinos and Vietnamese [05:12] or not Vietnamese, Thai, I believe they [05:14] tried. I can't remember exactly which [05:16] other country. Indonesia, maybe? I can't [05:17] remember. Um [05:19] Imperial Japan And again, Japan is a [05:21] great country now, but that's the [05:22] history of Japan. Same thing with [05:23] Germany, is a great country now. That's [05:25] the history of Germany. They were [05:26] actually genocidal. But, we If we [05:29] acknowledge that as a genocide, fine. [05:32] Okay, whatever the [ __ ] is going on in [05:33] Gaza, let's call it a genocide. But [05:35] then, I would just say, [05:36] why do you care about this genocide over [05:38] every other genocide that's not [05:40] taking place in the past, that's taking [05:42] place now on Tuesday? Like, there's a [05:44] genocide going on in Sudan and Somalia. [05:47] There was a genocide going on in [05:48] Lebanon, in Syria, in Egypt against the [05:51] Coptic Christians. Like there's [05:52] genocides happening now tens of [05:54] thousands of times worse than whatever [05:57] happened to the Palestinians. [05:59] If it's all a genocide, then why do you [06:01] care only about this genocide? That's [06:04] the [ __ ] part of it. I'll see you [06:06] guys in the next one.
