Transcript [00:00] There's no one I feel more like he's on [00:02] it than our next speaker, Yishi Fleer, [00:07] because Yishi is in my mind one of the [00:10] most articulate gula spokesman for the [00:14] nation of Israel, the Jews of Judea in [00:17] the world today. You see him on Piers [00:19] Morgan, you see him on CNN, you see him [00:21] everywhere. And he's just so on. [00:24] spokesman for the Jewish community of [00:26] Kvron. Incredible work that you're doing [00:28] for let's give it up for the work he's [00:31] doing putting on the map in the world. [00:35] Um he's running for Knesset. I'm voting [00:37] for them. Whatever slate he's on. [00:40] There's a lot more I can say, but I feel [00:42] tremendous gratitude to Yeshi because so [00:45] much of my own journey, my own life, my [00:47] life here in Israel, all the work we've [00:49] done in Judea, I can trace it back to [00:52] the inspiration that Yeshi has given me. [00:54] And I know I'm not alone in that. So, [00:55] Yishi, it's an honor to call you up, my [00:58] friend. Come. Thank you very much. [01:01] Shalom, everybody. [01:06] Kesset members, rabbis, Arifold [01:09] organization, the Arifold project, [01:12] family members, and uh Lamas, [01:16] past winners, but many future winners. I [01:20] know them. I see them. They're in this [01:22] audience right now. I there's at least [01:24] there's a lot of future winners here uh [01:27] of the Arifold uh prize and because [01:30] Arifold had great people around him and [01:31] he inspired us. I watched this video [01:34] just now of the stuff that has been done [01:36] in Ahri's name and it reminded me the [01:38] words of a great rabbi who's not often [01:41] quoted. [01:43] His name was Rabenu [01:46] Obi-Wan Kenobi. [01:48] And he said to Darth Vader, he said to [01:51] him in that they had, he said, "If you [01:55] strike me down, [01:57] I shall become more powerful than you [02:00] can possibly imagine." [02:02] Those were the words that Obi-Wan said [02:04] to Darth Vader before he was Mistle. [02:08] And uh when I look at this video, I [02:10] think to myself, Ari, they struck you [02:13] down and you've become way more powerful [02:15] than they could have imagined. And [02:17] that's an amazing success. [02:20] A met I want to hear a round of applause [02:22] for that. Thank you. Come on, loosen up [02:24] people. [02:29] I had a dream [02:31] and that dream was to rename Route 60 [02:34] the biblical highway. Uh it was an [02:36] Americanstyle dream. I talked about it [02:38] here a few years ago. I tried to explain [02:40] that Route 60 is a beautiful road. It's [02:42] our road. It's the road that goes from [02:44] Beer Cheva. That's where Abrau started [02:47] his uh the the non-Jewish folks call it [02:50] uh his uh ministry. He started his [02:53] ministry to teach the the the nations [02:55] about the one true God. He made them say [02:57] Brahot basically on the intersection of [03:00] Beva. [03:01] It goes up to Kevron where the tomb of [03:03] the mamas and papas is right. The first [03:06] purchase of the Jewish people in the [03:07] land of Israel. King David's first [03:09] capital. An amazing structure that is [03:12] whole today. There's no other Herodian [03:14] structure which is whole. Sits on top of [03:16] the tomb of the moms and papas which is [03:19] itself a kind of miracle. By the way, if [03:21] you go to Maratillah we have a new roof [03:23] on Marata it's incredible and uh you go [03:27] up a little bit more north you get here [03:28] to be do you know I've been living here [03:31] in Ephra uh for 9 years. I didn't even [03:35] know about Lo Yadi. [03:40] I did not know until Barashem, our [03:43] current mayor, which we we helped elect [03:45] uh do Sheffller and his team uh worked [03:49] hard to is are working hard to make it [03:51] part of our heritage. Once again, that's [03:54] where the book of uh the book of root [03:57] was written here about about characters [04:00] about people that came here about root [04:01] ham the great grandmother of the maloot. [04:04] It goes to your shalim two temples. [04:07] We're working on the third one. It goes [04:09] up there from to Betel. By the way, this [04:10] is a pet peeve of mine. I lived in [04:12] Betel. When I say Betel, what is the [04:14] image that's supposed to be conjured in [04:15] your mind? I say Betel, you say [04:19] Yakov. That should be IN EVERY ISRAELI [04:21] KID'S HEART. EVERY ISRAELI KID SHOULD [04:23] know I say btel, they say salam yakov. [04:26] It's one of the most beautiful Jewish [04:28] symbols. A Jew is supposed to beam [04:30] yakov. Head in the clouds, head in great [04:32] thoughts, but feet on the ground. That's [04:34] what a Jew is. The road keeps going from [04:37] Betel to Shilo. That's where the [04:39] tabernacle stood for almost 400 years. [04:41] That's where Kana taught us how to pray. [04:43] That's where was conceived from that uh [04:46] prayer and finally gets up to that's [04:49] where the blessings and the curses [04:51] happen and that's where Yseph is buried. [04:53] That's also where uh the Israel guys are [04:56] found over there at Harbra. So that's [04:58] amazing as well. That's right. Kav and [05:01] finally goes down to the Jezrael Valley [05:03] and Misel and all the way up uh through [05:06] Megiddo uh and the Tav and finally to No [05:10] Galil. This one road is a heritage road [05:13] and my dream was to rename it Datanak. [05:17] Okay. So I dreamt about it. I thought [05:18] about it. I wrote about it. It actually [05:20] started as a class. I just started [05:22] teaching it that way. I thought this was [05:23] be a great pneummonic, a great way to [05:25] teach people about about the Bible [05:27] stories. And after I kept teaching it [05:29] and talking about it, people were like, [05:30] "Yeah, yeah, that works." I was like, [05:32] "Why don't we just make it real?" Then [05:34] Biata Desmay was eating falafel and I [05:36] bumped into Ya Dan and I said, we [05:38] started talking. I'm like, "What do you [05:40] do?" And he said to me and I'm like this [05:41] this is my dream and basically I had [05:43] this to uh have funds to to to hire him [05:46] and he put his his own nish into it and [05:49] after four years four years of working [05:52] with our beloved government our beloved [05:54] Israeli government uh it finally clicked [05:57] after we talked to the ministry of [05:58] heritage and the ministry of [06:00] transportation and the prime minister's [06:02] office and other offices. After we [06:05] talked to them and taught him and after [06:06] we did this this way and that way we [06:09] what they call in English socialized the [06:10] idea the vat it came together we had an [06:13] incredible event the prime minister [06:14] himself was talking about it but I want [06:16] to tell you something that was happening [06:18] today as I was driving here today on [06:20] route 60 I'm talking with y about our [06:24] beloved government you know we have a we [06:26] have a penant here a penant is that how [06:28] you pronounce it to uh screw up English [06:32] words on signs am I right about We love [06:34] that. Pa tiqua, right? You know what I'm [06:38] talking about. Uh, every we love to [06:41] misspell it and we do it so [06:42] professionally. So, right now, our [06:44] beloved government is working of our [06:46] beloved state of Israel is working very [06:48] hard to mess up the part about the [06:50] English part. They didn't like our [06:53] suggestion about the biblical highway [06:55] because they said it was only two lanes. [06:57] It's not a highway. BUT IT'S BECOMING [06:59] FOUR LANES. [07:01] NO. When it becomes four lanes, THEN [07:03] WE'LL TALK. BUT IT'S IN MANY PARTS FOUR [07:05] LANES. NO, NOT YET. IT'S NOT A HIGHWAY. [07:07] It's a road. So they came up with Bible [07:09] road. So we said to them, but it NEEDS [07:11] THE WORD 'THE'. IS THAT A PREPOSITION? [07:13] Is that what that's called? The the [07:15] biblical the Bible road. At least no [07:17] Bible road. So we fought them. Then [07:19] they're like, no. They sent us to me [07:21] today. Bible route. [07:27] Bible route. [07:29] NO, DON'T DO IT. OKAY. And so this only [07:33] teaches you that you when you when [07:35] you're negotiating things with our with [07:37] our best government that we ever had, [07:39] Kola Kavode Minister Shiki, you've been [07:42] involved in literally the best [07:44] government that the state of Israel has [07:46] ever had and you've had a big part in [07:48] it. Kola Kavote too. I I say that with [07:51] full confidence. Amazing government done [07:53] great things. But still though, in order [07:55] to do it right, you have to leav you [07:58] have to be part of there. If you care a [07:59] lot, you can't just leave it up to [08:00] government. We're American, you know. We [08:02] don't leave it up to government to do [08:03] it. We push it. We make sure it happens. [08:05] So, let's all pray that at least it's [08:07] going to be called either the biblical [08:08] highway or the I said to them, okay, the [08:11] Bible road with a preposition thus, [08:13] please. And we're working very hard with [08:15] the topest levels uh to make that [08:17] happen. So, bestom. Amen. Everybody, [08:20] come on. Amen. Bestom. And this road is [08:23] going to be, you know, uh the the [08:26] winners today. Nadia and Yehudit have [08:29] literally been my heroes for many years. [08:32] They maybe don't know that, but they've [08:34] been my heroes. When I got here to [08:38] Israel, they were the show. They were [08:40] the people who were pushing hard. And [08:42] I'll tell you a story that I'll never [08:43] forget. Nadia and Yehud, a story that [08:46] I'll never forget. It was tish [08:51] and there was a there was a there was a [08:53] message sent out. There's a protest to [08:55] Kevl. Kevl is closed for traffic for [08:58] some reason. Jews can't drive in. So [09:01] Naja and and Yehud said we're marching [09:03] on Kevl. And that spoke to my heart. I [09:06] was like I'm going to be there. It's hot [09:07] on Shabav. So hot. Okay. And it's you [09:10] know and they always call it for the [09:11] afternoon. Uh and and we went and we [09:14] marched on the thing and we made a big [09:16] old stink [09:18] and guess what like a few months later [09:20] it opened for traffic and there's big [09:22] parking there and the whole thing and I [09:23] remember like we said no we're not going [09:26] to [09:28] we're not going to do it and we fought [09:29] for that and you know these biblical [09:30] places mean so much to to me and to you [09:33] and I fought with you for uh Kevl and [09:37] the the next thing is of course [09:39] sovereignty and yehudit uh and Naja are [09:43] they're not just saying a thing and then [09:45] letting the government do it once. [09:46] They're pushing it, propelling it. [09:48] They're not stopping. They're like [09:50] they're like Ben Frier's crocodiles. [09:52] Once they grab you, that's it. They [09:53] don't let go, you know. Uh so really I [09:57] want to wish you a mazaltod deserved [09:59] much deserved prize and many of you here [10:01] deserve a prize. I I know that almost [10:03] all of you here have done great things [10:04] for the Jewish people. I know you have [10:06] and I wish mama you all deserve a prize. [10:08] May Hashem give you a recognition for [10:10] all your good work throughout time. I [10:12] mean that so many of you I'm looking at [10:13] you. You're hiding. I know how much [10:15] you've done for Israel. Okay. [10:19] It's a way that's going to cause people [10:20] to have consciousness about our biblical [10:23] land, about our biblical road. Uh we're [10:25] going to have businesses on there. We're [10:27] going to have a Bies there one day soon [10:30] though. H and we're going to have uh [10:33] teaching there. We're going to have [10:34] movies there. You're going to drive [10:36] there. You're going to know that you [10:37] went on Dan. You're going to know it. [10:38] You're going to buy the swag. It's going [10:40] to be part of your life. And guess what? [10:42] That is also a type of sovereignty. It's [10:44] a consciousness sovereignty. It's a [10:46] sovereignty inside the mind and inside [10:48] the heart and inside the Jewish and [10:50] inside the Jewish uh uh uh toad. Folks, [10:54] we've got a problem here in Israel of [10:55] Toad. I ask good people in the army. I [10:58] ask them who was Yitzkak's wife. [11:02] People don't know. We don't know. know [11:05] say for we don't know say for me we [11:08] don't know say for we got to get to know [11:10] it is one of the ways to do it okay is [11:14] I'm not going to tell you it's not going [11:16] to be fair for me to stand here and say [11:17] vote because I'm number 12 that would be [11:20] so I wouldn't do that but in any case in [11:22] any case mazalto to everybody and thank [11:24] you very much uh to uh the Levit and I [11:27] want to also mention thank you I want to [11:29] mention also a very secret hidden person [11:32] there she is right there Kami Kami you [11:34] are one of the mats mote to the prime [11:37] minister and has brought a lot of great [11:40] things to consciousness.
